Yes. You should switch to your VOX for Streamyx.

Thanks for the suggestion. My VOX max out each month for other online purchases. Shall use PBB VS perhaps. Hassle to stop the auto debit. Any method to change payment mode besides going to counter? Online available?

Using Amex coz 5x TP plus the RM2 rebate for auto debit. Monthly bill only RM80. Small difference only in returns.

Have changed auto debit credit cards many times (for insurance too) each time the T&C changes.

Is it just me or TP redemption got adjusted recently?

http://www.maybank2u.com.my/WebBank/TPoints-Redemption.pdf

I believe RM100 vouchers used to be ~43,500 in the catalogue, 40,000 walk-in card center few weeks ago.

Gosh... mad.gif
No notice from Maybank? That's bad... It means that the equivalent 'voucher rebate' for Amex is about 1%, down from 1.25%...

well I used to pay unifi and celcom bills with MBB AMEX online with M2U, just wondering whether telco bills are considered utility or not, since they revised this to 1x TP  cry.gif

Just checked, yes Unifi is under Utilities.. Celcom not, sorry for the confusion  smile.gif

What about Streamyx? I'm using Amex for the auto-pay to enjoy the RM2 rebate.

Useless ? Hardly. Far from useless as this card still give you 1.25% cash back for most transactions.
*
Still 1.25%? I thought the treat points were revised recently?

dont get confused.

the recent revision was on the earning of tp, not redemption/conversion.

If I can recall, there is a revision on redemption too.
46,400 points for RM100 voucher. About 1.08% returns. For RM50 voucher, it is at 0.98%.

the last TP revision was in May 2015  biggrin.gif

to-date, RM1 = 400TP.

back in April 2016, i redeemed RM50 Petronas Gift Card @ 20k TPs. If TPs purely earned from M2C Amex 5X, that'd translate to 1.25% equivalent cashback.

for the TP catalogue, the conversion is higher due delivery fees inclusive.

It still is 1.25%. It is 400 TP = RM1 for on the spot redemption such as Parksom, Metrojaya etc. Voucher redemption at Maybankard centre is the same too except for Aeon Big gift card. You get RM5 extra with Aeon Big gift card.

Thank you for the clarifications

I have 160k TP to clear. But all the fair is in KL. Penang no chance, will burn it somewhere. Should be Tesco or convert to enrich

You can try Parkson or Gama. If you prefer stores with groceries, then go for Gama.

Just swiped over the weekend using my Visa from M2C. Think almost 2 years did not use this card, still looks brand new coz kept in drawer. So happen need to spend outside my usual cashback categories.

5% weekend cash back. The RM500 minimum spending is for individual card or combined (Amex+Visa)?

Only AmEx.

Oh gosh... wasted... anyway the shop do not accept amex but then could have used other cards with cash back. Another lesson learned....
