In the end, I gave her Maybank email address and she sent them an email instead. I have never encountered this though. Usually when I call the VS/Plat line, it only put me on hold max 3-5 minutes and will be answered by CS.

Maybe lots of people cancelled this card and they have also reduced their CS proportionally?
