QUOTE(ramdieslow @ Apr 27 2016, 08:30 PM) Guys, The 20 days is based on your statement date, not transaction date.Need help with something. I made a transaction worth RMXXXX on April 13. This card give 20 days interest free period. If I settle everything on May 3 (May 2 public holiday), will they still charge me the interest or not? Ngam ngam 20 days Appreciate your answer in case one of you guys had done this before. Thanks |

Anybody used their AMEX to buy GSC tickets but transaction failed? Trying to make use of the RM10 per ticket AMEX promotion but kept on failed transaction.
Edit: hey my bad, the CVV code should be the 4 letter on the front instead of the 3 letter on the back, forgotten this property of an Amex card. Sorry all But then what's the usage of the 3 letter code at the back? This post has been edited by babienn: May 7 2016, 12:43 PM |

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ May 26 2016, 10:02 PM) I don't think many people do that either even the most seasoned credit card user. Well it doesn't defy the purpose of a credit card, at all. A lot of people just want to use a CC like a debit card and enjoy the cashback/points/promotion benefits of it.Why would you want to do that ? That totally defies the purpose of using credit card. Some people want to deposit some money into their credit card because they they want to make a large purchase but they do not have sufficient credit limit. Anyhow, to answer your question. You can deposit the money to your credit card via Maybank CDM and the system won't reject it. Used to be like that, don't want to have the feel of spending "future" money and spend effort to remember the pay back date. This post has been edited by babienn: May 26 2016, 10:20 PM |

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ May 26 2016, 10:25 PM) That's not a smart move as you are not maximizing the benefit of a credit card to the maximum. It's just like many big companies have plenty of cash (for instance, YTLP). But that hasn't stopped them from using the loan service from banks. I see. Since that I can't make good use of cash, especially just in small amount, I pay my card early all the time. Zero hassle. If you do not want to worry about missing your credit card payment due date, you can always set up a standing instruction with Maybank or any other bank for that purpose. |
