QUOTE(badai @ Jun 14 2016, 01:44 PM)
My credit card was stolen and call to report it. So the automated answer said press X to report lost or stolen card, press that number wait for few minutes and was told everybody is busy, and I should call later or can continue to wait.

Since it's credit card that can be use (cashier rarely check signature) I opt to wait. How long? around 30 minutes.

I think if maybank can't prioritize lost/stolen card report over other call or they just suck at it, it's better not to lose you credit card. a lot can be bought in 30 minutes.

citibank took less than 3 minutes to get to operator.

for card replacement, bonuslink and prudential sent with normal post and received it less than 3 days. still no news for my maybank replacement card. guess they have no idea without card they will have no income.

The call waiting time seems taking longer. I made a call yesterday noon to enquire a transaction also took 15 mins. Last time I remember always pick up instantly. There is machine voice repeatedly remind me to use other channels due to high utilisation. What wrong with Maybank now a day?
*
Really that bad? I haven't call them for a long time, but last time they are quite fast and one of the best CS (compared to other banks). But my experience is that it is normally easier to get through when you call during early morning (8am~) or late night (10pm~).

I think if the cash back is credited in the same month, then it most likely will follow posting date. If it is not posted by the statement date, the bank won't know the transaction that eligible for cashback. (Probably will be credited in next month)

Try register using my Sony Xperia Z1 at Treatsfair and it works. So long your device has NFC feature, the app should work. The app only accept registration for MBB Visa (credit and debit card).

The reader is the Paywave device deployed to MBB merchant, e.g. AEON. It's not new NFC reader.
*
Hmm... the Z1 is quite old phone. Which version of Android its running on?

QUOTE(maskedchan @ Jul 21 2016, 09:09 PM)
Mc no contact less features. Mine is MC
Yes. That device could support any credit card contactless, Apple pay, android pay, Samsung pay.
My question is how many merchant have the device now?
Does rollout Apple pay, android pay, Samsung pay a good choice now with limited reader out there
*
Some of the big merchants already support paywave... for example, Aeon, Aeon Big, McDonalds's. (can get the list here: http://www.visa.com.my/personal/features/visapaywave.shtml)

I guess that with the change to pin and pay, many merchants will need to change the terminal. Might as well change it to a contactless compatible terminal.

I already redeemed few times before points inflated, now still got some left. I don't think I will go, just let them accumulate and I redeem vouchers next time. laugh.gif

My friend said can redeem RM20 Aeon voucher (RM10 for other vouchers such as parkson, kfc, etc) at treatfair... I think normally we can only redeem RM50?

QUOTE(activexxx @ Aug 27 2016, 01:03 PM)
Is there any chance that Maybankard calculate wrongly on Statement Balance?

All my spending are on local. But when I check my Statement Balance and Transaction History in MBB2U, it didn't tally...
*
Just check back your receipts and compare the amount... you should be able to identify the transactions that are not tally.
