QUOTE(alexjaya @ Jul 14 2016, 11:43 AM) Anyone having trouble making payment on Amazon? I had this problem once. only on AMEX.Many times I tried but failed. Can't even get the customer service, always experiencing high call volume and ask to call back later ... even at 10pm ... they said they would unblock it after the call, but it still failed to go thru. No problem using Visa tho. Amex, it's easier to trigger fraud alert |

i have called them a few time to accelerate the replacement for my cards as I'll be leaving for overseas for half year.
in the end it failed. This is how the replacement works. It works by batches. The expiry of existing your credit card will determine when your cards be replaced. my previous cards expired on Mar 2016. DUMB MBB still send me replacement without PIN & PAY FEATURES! extra cost for them and hassle for me. So the 'new' card will expire on 2019. According the their system, it should be replaced around Sept/Oct this year. idiot. |

QUOTE(kengyan @ Jul 16 2016, 10:30 AM) http://www.maybank2u.com.my/mbb_info/m2u/p...sonal/CRD-Cards Card center isn't anywhere nearby. Branch staff says they don't handle such mater. You got your replacement before March 2016, right? The main replacement only started on April. Last date you still can use your card is 30th June next year. You will have problem only if you decided to stay longer overseas. Anyway, ranting over here to get useless support are pretty useless to begin with. Maybe going to the nearest branch or card center and ask for replacement would be better. ''we will send the replacement card to your overseas address. '' this is the last answer I have from them. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jul 16 2016, 01:49 AM) My M2Cards will expire in April 2017 and Ikhwan Mastercard will expire in Oct 2020 and I was told I will get my replacement cards in Sept/Oct. not sure if they are pushing back/slowing their replacement schedule. I'm different from you, not urgent though. since pin and pay has been delayed till July next year. |

QUOTE(limeuu @ Jul 30 2016, 09:55 PM) atm cards are already, by definition, pin based cards...at one point meps had an eftpos payment system, and it was pin based....so technically, there is NO need to change the pure atm cards...i have my 6 digit pin for atm access, and that can be used the same for pin based purchases, should i want to... OCBC is probably the only bank that is still keeping the old & pure ATM card. My mother was there and told by the staff there was no need to change. Only payment cards are affected.the issue is actually, what system our debit cards are based on nowadays...it appears msia has given up on national eftpos system, and adopted the visa/mc system....hence all the bankcards are visa/mc based...i suppose that makes sense, to ride on the very extensive visa/mc cc payment network... my atm cards dates back to the early 90's and is a limited edition card with the picture of the Manara Maybank...and never expires...when they introduced the debit cards (cherry), i declined to "upgrade".... my accounts are also annual charge free....never charged for the atm card use... so i loath to have to change, and then have the bank negating on all the historical free nature of my accounts and cards... p/s i just checked, the old atm card is actually plus enabled, so should be compatible with the visa network, i have actually withdrawn cash in foreign atms with the card, via the plus/visa network.....there is REALLY no need to force people like me to change, and it CANNOT be bnm's directive...as bnm's directive is purely to move payment system at pos into a pin based system...nothing to do with atm cards, which is already pin based anyway.... |
