actually, do we still get 5x TP for retail transaction at departmental store?
*
If based on the revised benefits, departmental store is not listed as impacted categories.. So, we suppose dept store can get 5x points..

All On-The-Spot redemption uses the same rules, 400Tp = RM1.

I guess they are limiting all the benefits because they hit the amount of users that they targeted...maybe when more and more ppl cancel their 2 card then MBB will consider resuming the benefits LOL

Thanks for sharing this link. I saw the date was 20th April but I got the call later. Anyway, I had collected this item at Royal Selangor 1 Utama (note: do not walk in to the MBB Card Center which a mistake I did). Go to the Royal Selangor beside the iSetan instead with the letter from MBB and your IC.

Hi guys, im a MBB 2 Gold Card user for a couple of years already.

Im not sure if its already been asked before or if this is the right place to ask. If not, appreciate if you guys could guide me to the proper thread.

Since the day i started to use MBB card, i always make sure that i make payment before the due date and the payment is more than the minimum payment required.

The problem comes early this year, since Jan to be exact. Due to current oil price, my previous employer decided not to extend my employment contract, and i left unemployed for a few months. Im also just had a baby few months before my contract ended. Since then, Im unable to pay the minimum amount required since FEB, IIRC. However, i tried my best to pay whatever amount i can every month, usually half of the minimum amount.

So for now, i have almost RM9k of statement balance and Rm800++ of minimum balance due on end of this month, and to make matter worse, I dont think that i can afford to pay anything at all this month.

On the bright side, u just been offered a job starting June, i think i can start paying normally starting end of June (even thou i doubt i can pay the minimum amount for the 1st month) and continue to pay off my debt.

My question is, what should I do before i could afford to pay my debt normally? Most probably starting July. The only option that i know is to convert all my statement balance to term loan. Anyone know how to apply for this conversion and what are the process involved?

Any other suggestions or advices are welcome.

Thank you.

Hi, i dont think that with my current situation, other bank would approve new credit card application. And i need to work for at least 3 months (for 3 month payslip) before i can apply for other card, no?

Correct me if im wrong.

Just to make sure we are on the same page:

MBB card = almost 9k statement balance. Over the card limit of 8k
Other card = almost 3k statement balance. still under limit of 3k

I cant borrow from friends and family any more as i has borrowed for my other monthly commitment. I have never been in this situation before as i followed the payment plan strictly. But since the end of my contract, which caught me off guard, im unable to pay my debt as per normal. It was my mistake that i dont have much saving before.

I dont think i can delay the payment any longer until my 1st pay check.

Besides BT, anyone have info on converting CC debt into term loan?
