How the cashier knows this is pin enabled credit card or use signature for transaction?
*
You are not going to use it now, will only use only next year onward though already delayed to 1st July 2017. For now still signature, once it's implemented no more signature, only PIN.

OK, thanks. Can we request the upgrade through CS via email?

I'm not sure but you can try, I think should be accepted.

I have requested to upgrade to PIN-enabled card (both MBB and PBB) since Feb but to no avail. CS asked to update latest mailing address and wait for their upgrade. sad.gif

Wah. In that case, should I be aware or something? They will check for me right? Hopefully no need to pay.

Usually happen for online transactions, don't buy from those shabby sites.

Now this thing happened, will they check and prove that I didn't use the transaction?
*
That's where you will need to fill in the dispute form. Should be quite OK one.
Remember to ask them to block your card and issue a new card.

All this while it was there, then they removed it and reinstated again plus lowered down the annual income from 60k to 24k.

MBB amended the format with better understanding.

x means not impacted.

Then i no need cancel my MBB 2 cards since insurance still can get 1x point for Visa.

All my complaints are reflected accordingly on this updated sheet. Today they replied me again saying relevant department is looking into this.
Fixed already. tongue.gif

Thanks @fruitie !! The published data is better but i don't really feel their sincerely on fixing it... just adding a small legends.
They should add one more categories for "other retail"...  Not really professional still...
*
Well, probably there are just too many categories to list out. So, in short whatever that it is not listed, it is not affected. smile.gif

auditor job so easy.. just criticize other pipu work.. I admit, it was a badly done table.. but even I read it also can understand the table ..

visa/mastercards are not affected by the change.. they still remain 1x points, same as always, except for the 0 points for government transactions..

amex cards are affected. all now become 1xpoints, except government transactions which is also 0 points.
in summary, this card, be it visa, mastercard or amex is now the same value for certain types of transactions..
but amex still 5xpoints for overseas, dining, entertainment, electronics,etc..
wasn't too hard to comprehend the table..?
*
How about the typo? American Express word was not mentioned in their first table for M2Cards.
Nobody did proofread? Still very bad.

not gonna argue that it was a terrible table.. but i think common sense tells u that the change only affects the Amex cards of the Maybank 2 cards.. visa/mastercard keep in drawer anyways.

My concern was whether it affected retail, telco and or overseas transactions, which clearly the table shows it doesnt..

so the card is still OK. Whereas people here are over-exaggerating.
*
Yes, I also agreed whatever not mentioned should be not affected.

I'm not affected because most of my swiped stuff are retail for my AmEx, mentioned since first day it was out. laugh.gif

Just that tak boleh tahan the table, it is very badly done. Decided to give them a wake up call.

I also vy hard to understand the table for the new regulations?

Since I got both Visa and Amex for Maybank 2 cards, does that means it's the best to use only Amex? Visa should just keep it?
*
Even before the revision, M2Cards Visa/MasterCard are pretty useless. I don't keep it in my wallet anymore, already long time stored and locked in drawer.

Amex 5x. Visa 2x. So, Amex first. If the merchant doesn't accept Amex, this is when u use Visa. smile.gif

Visa is never 2x, all this while 1x only.
