Just checked CS, the promotion still on for M2C Amex Weekend 5% cashback until end of 2016. However this call took me 10 mins ++ for the CS to pick up.

FYI, CS informed paying TNB during weekend via Maybank2U with M2C AMEX is entitled for this 5% cashback promotion.  rclxms.gif

In that case, you should refer to it as the promotion and not the 5% cashback nod.gif

May I know what's happening?

Log in via m2u app and found that my credit card (visa & amex) both need reactivation.

Is that necessary to activate? What happen if I didn't do so?
Yes! Exactly! That's why I'm here! It started this few months the tel service noone pick up and wasted like RM2 to RM5 per call end up still no one pick up. How and where can I complain to BNM?

replacement card. activate after you received the new ones, not now.

Emailing to BNM will only work if everyone start doing to. Else, they would not treat it seriously.

Well, at least BNM will require them to reply us within a stipulated time frame and they will need to copy BNM in replies. I think that's good enough for now. tongue.gif

Yes, it is still a reactive based action. When more and more people complaining, they will want to avoid getting the same email from BNM everytime and actually do something to their delivery system.

Err, Maybank's official FB page?
Yeah, BNM is number 1 in my email list now laugh.gif

Tonnes of complaints about non compliance.

Getting my money back with each successful case thou so I can't complaint.
*
I am not sure if you notice or not. Lately, they just solve the case and that's it...no apology from MBB side for their mistake. Mine is for non-compliance of CB too for a clear cut situation.

Imagine how much CB they can save when some customers do not realize and/or did not do anything.

Any of you failed telephone verification before? what happen if you do?
*
I have failed one or two questions before, esp those that ask about purchase details etc which I cannot remember. I just tell the CS to ask me different questions.

Hi, could you explain more on this? Mine is the 2 card, platinum Amex and Visa. If govt 0 point, means nothing and for the others with 1x point, will be 5x if i use the Amex card?

I'm confused actually since my last month bill was easy, just times 5. This is my second month with MBB card and it shows 4x (in the picture below).

from page 1 FAQ
18. The Maybankard 2 AMEX earns you 1x TP for every RM charged to your card by default. The rest of the TP is recorded as 4x bonus TP (written as MAYBANKARD 2 AMEX 4X BONUS in your statement), making it a total of 5x TP for all charges made to your MBB2 AMEX

Hi, has anyone ever encountered any problems using Maybank 2 Amex Card abroad? I used it to purchase an item from a merchant whose payment gateway was in London and the transaction was declined.
*
did you inform the bank beforehand that you will be using it overseas?
