Terms & Conditions:
Campaign starts from 1 July to 31 December 2016.
Total amount of Cashback to be awarded is capped at RM1,500,000 monthly and RM9,000,000 throughout the campaign period.
Cardmember must spend a minimum cumulative of RM500 on any Maybank 2 American Express Platinum or Gold Credit Card in a Calendar month to qualify for the Cashback.
Each Cardmember is eligible for the Cashback only once each month should the Cardmember hold 2 or more Maybank 2 American Express Cards.
Cashback is awarded to the Principle Cardmember only and is capped at RM50 per month.
Cashback for this campaign is excludes Dining where Cardmember currently continues to get 5% Weekend Dining Cashback as part of the product feature.
5% Weekend Cashback will be credited four to six weeks after the end of the Promotion period. << T&Cs stated within 8-12 weeks after end of campaign period. >>

so mean what? must spend on sat sunday (rm500) to entitle ?

1st week weekend i spend 200,

2nd week weekend i spend 300,

so in 1 month time i spend 500, i still entitle right? but only 5% which mean rm25 only.

But not sure if need to spend tomorrow in order to get higher chance to be winner?

Well, you may need to spend during weekday to have higher chances to be winner? Not sure.

half-hearted promo. unless it's a guaranteed cashback, i wont spent a dime on their m2cards now.

the 5% weekend cash back campaign is it auto enroll or we need to sms something?

Hi, I was trying to made a online payment by amex gold card for buying books from other country, but it stated :
There were problems with the following fields:

The credit card americanexpress could not be authorized for payment: Generic Decline.

Is it we can't use amex card to do online payment or need to do some setup with maybank before can be use for online payment? Cuz around 1-2months ago i was trying to use the debit card to do online payment also declined(before this, i use for online payment no problem). Then after i called maybank, they set up for me just can use already.

Min cumulative spending includes everything, no indication that dining is excluded.

Already shared since June and it's not a guaranteed cash back. It's a promo.

Just wondering, the yellow ATM card (non debit card) also need to change?

Mine is a very old limited edition menara maybank one... and it's already pin based pure ATM card....don't want to change....

At first I thought only credit cards are affected. I have received SMS for AmBank debit card, looks like I will need go and replace CIMB too. So busy.

usually credit card contest (e.g. the more you spend, the higher chances of your winning luck), will require you to register via sms to participate. if the contest is from 1st June 2016 till 31 Aug 2016, and i only register on 20 Aug 2016, were my purchases made before 20/8 counted?
