The more I read the charts, the more I get confused. rclxub.gif bangwall.gif

If I have the time, I will call their CS and make them explain to me the chart and I will ask them questions until they get confused with themselves. Then, they will know how sucky this thing is. shakehead.gif

2. scroll down to the announcement
3. click on the 'click here'

direct PDF is http://www.maybank2u.com.my/WebBank/CVP-PlatCard.pdf for Plat.

Well, I have both and I seldom have the chance to use my Maybank2AmEx Plat.
I seldom dine out during weekends and places I go don't accept AmEx. sleep.gif
MACH is just handy for me. laugh.gif

So, in conclusion, good to have both. laugh.gif

Just send an email to Maybank to increase my credit limit, usually how long before we know the application is successfull or not?
*
They will reply you to fill in a form and submit 3 months latest payslip.
Then only it will process. Mine from sending form to all only takes 3-4 working days.

I need to call the cs to enable the card to use in oversea right? Is the rate of charges depends on the country travelling?
*
Yes, call banks to avoid hassle. They may suspect fraud cases and will call you then incur high costs for roaming. If they can't get you may block your card.

Service charge + daily exchange rate. Refer here: https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1845691

but if the bank is smart, they will call the merchant to talk to you.
*
Why call merchants? Do they do that? Usually they will straight cardholders, I don't know how smart it is to call merchants instead of cardholders. laugh.gif
Anyway, just to avoid hassle, call lo. I call every time I go overseas though it is painful for me especially I have so many cards, of course I don't activate for all. I only do for few pieces only. laugh.gif

so that the cardholder don't have to pay roaming fees and not all cardholders on their phones overseas. i don't know how, but the bank was able to call to that specific counter to talk to me when i swipe it. if can't speak to you, then probably fraud. lol
*
Good for you then. I rather spend with peace of mind. I went to Japan for vacation and forgot to inform banks because I was so busy before I flew there.
Then, when I swiped my stuff for the third time, they called ma already but I missed the call as I was at Shinjuku station, world's busiest train station. Then, I called back and asked what's the matter, they told me it is due to suspicious of fraud cases. Luckily I have my corporate line, can call all I want and charge to company's bill. laugh.gif
