4.7 The  Cashback  shall  exclude  dining  transactions,  where  Cardmember  will  continue  to  enjoy  5% Weekend Dining Cashback as part of the product feature.
5.2 Upon  meeting  the  qualified transactions  &  excluding  dining, Cardmember’s total  weekend spending will be then awarded 5% cashback.

Based on point 4.7 of the T&Cs, i understand that for dining we won't get 5%+5%. So, dining on weekend give u zero CB under this promo, but get the usual 5% CB under the card feature.
What does point 5.2 mean - dining is NOT considered as "qualified transactions"??

What is ur understanding?

There r cards that give >=5% CB(guranteed) for bills n groceries, should only spend on things that get very little CB for this campaign.

meaning spending on dining will be as normal ongoing 5% cashback..

e.g. u spend RM500 on dining this weekend u will get normal 5% cashback.
However, the RM500 spending does not include in accumulate amount for this promotion..
so u have not spend anything to qualify for this promotion..

spending on bill payment that give u 5x TP + this 5% cashback..not good enough?

But this 5% CB is not guaranteed. Do u have HL Wise card or PBB VS?

Me too, won't use on groceries and bills as I can get >10% CB using other cards n other campaign.

Actually petrol on Saturdays also not bad, can get additional 5x TP provided do it on the first Saturday for almost guaranteed cash back.
