My credit card was stolen and call to report it. So the automated answer said press X to report lost or stolen card, press that number wait for few minutes and was told everybody is busy, and I should call later or can continue to wait.

Since it's credit card that can be use (cashier rarely check signature) I opt to wait. How long? around 30 minutes.

I think if maybank can't prioritize lost/stolen card report over other call or they just suck at it, it's better not to lose you credit card. a lot can be bought in 30 minutes.

citibank took less than 3 minutes to get to operator.

for card replacement, bonuslink and prudential sent with normal post and received it less than 3 days. still no news for my maybank replacement card. guess they have no idea without card they will have no income.

The call waiting time seems taking longer. I made a call yesterday noon to enquire a transaction also took 15 mins. Last time I remember always pick up instantly. There is machine voice repeatedly remind me to use other channels due to high utilisation. What wrong with Maybank now a day?

Really that bad? I haven't call them for a long time, but last time they are quite fast and one of the best CS (compared to other banks). But my experience is that it is normally easier to get through when you call during early morning (8am~) or late night (10pm~).

because some ppl abuses that system. there are some who complain can't get through to CS for general purposes and thus go through the stolen card line. when everyone does that, naturally everything will be slowed down

Hi guys.

would like to ask about maybank credit card. After the card application approved, how long need to wait to receive the card? I received SMS from Maybank that my application has been approved on 7th June, but from 7th June until now, I haven't received the card yet.

If you have maybank2u, you should be able to see if the new card in the list.
Usually, it arrives within a week from approval. If you are really concern, give them a call.

I remembered some moderator or staff quoted some banks are strict on this and they will insist on charging u for late fees

so far based on my experience, even 1 week i forgot to make payment the banks will waive for CCRIS appear to be "0"

I guess 2 days still OK if it's a genuine case. Usually banks are OK if you talk nicely to them. Else just pay for the late payment charges because indeed it was your mistake.
