Last week I went to see a house that cost rm800k, the agent on the spot ask what field I'm in, when I tell her from O&G, she can directly tells me which bank willing to do my business, CIMB, BSN, BI on the spot reject without seeing any documents, PBB, MBB need to see first. I tell her now to tell the banks I'm a half Qatari and working in Qatar and more banks opening up the door to see my documents first before approving
Nowadays banks are on defensive mode on approving loan and cards

mine is stated expire 05/16, called them last month they say will process renew and my card can use until 31st May.

but till now i didn't get new card.

My experience with Affin and Citi they replace my card 2~3 years prior.

how i wish every bank do that..change the card more frequently..
the card doesn't last long, always peel at the corner of the card.

Just read my credit card statement and just know that treat points are back to 1x... So now what is the best card to apply? Since I'm going to change for the Pin and Pay anyway

I accidently "damaged" my Amex card beyond any repair. Does MBB charged for replacement card? Its Gold one.

If its not free, should I asked for upgrade to Platinum? this one definitely should be free right? No issue on requirement.

Answer is no need. The due date is for those transactions that has been billed in your latest statement. For your transaction on 18may, it will be appeared in your next statement, let say 28may then u will need to pay it in full by due date 18june to avoid interest.

So if the statement balance in M2u show zero, mean just need to pay for next statement right?

No more 5x Treatpoints for all transactions. Since the treatpoints is lower value compare to other bank CC, should I just keep it in fridge?

When i applied for the Maybank 2 Platinum Cards more than a year ago, i was told the treat points has no expiry date. Even in my bill statement from last year till this April there was no expiry date for the treat points.
However in May there was an expiry date which states 31st July 2016 which is only 2 months from now!
I read MB2U website and saw an announcement saying since 2013 they removed the expiry date??

I'm really not happy with this development, when they quietly kept slowly increasing the treat points redemption reward amount. (This is after their major hike 2x points announcement last year)

My card is less than 2 yrs old, and I was told at that time there was no expiry for tp by several rep. Must be some joint sales lying strategy by them then sigh.

The news I saw on the MB website was announced in Feb 16, so I wouldn't know until recently..
