Hey guys.

My camera seems to be having this problem of dark vignetting at the top left side. At first i thought it was the lens. but after swapping a few lenses, problems still happen. does anyone here knows what seems to be the problem. problems also worsen if pics are taken during very sunny days.

Thanks

It could be you're using a lens designed for a smaller sensor so the image circle doesn't illuminate a large enough area, leaving dark corners.

I assume your 11-16 is the tokina lens and  it's made for cropped sensors

Since you tried both lenses and the effect is the same, then it's not a lens issue.

Something inside the camera that's causing it, might be something at the corner of the sensor.

Best to bring it for check up.

will do and thanks.

anyway, weird thing is, the vignette never happen when i shoot indoors / not under bright sunlight.

have you tried taking the same picture with and without lens hood?

Im going to guess it has something to do with the shutter or the mirror.

hi, im pretty sure this is shutter issue. but its weird that your canon hasnt show error code yet. one tough shutter refuse to give upĀ  notworthy.gif
or u can flip your mirror and see if the retainer clip has given up?

so far during mirror lockup everything seems fine.. n yeah, no error code is popping up yet.. haha
