I've been looking for some time to get a whole basketball system, ie comes with:
- stand (tiang), must be portable
- backboard, square better, glass better
- ring, with springs better
- net
- adjustable height
Price around less than RM1k. laugh.gif

Been looking everywhere, most quite expensive - RM2000 or more.
Only place is Toys'R'Us. From their catalogs, they have 1 cheaper one RM500. But it's NEVER in stock. WTf...

Any of you guys have good recommendations?
I remember this site www.tkhin.com used to sell cheap and good quality ones. But I don't think they sell to end-users. And now it seems the domain is invalid liao!

I think U can find some for around RM1500 I think. those Huffy ones are good. Cheap one U can go to Giant, I think cost about RM200 or so, but very flimsy, not stable at all. Those used during the 3 on 3 tournaments are custom made ones I believe. Huffy brands are expensive for a reason, they're very stable, adjustable the backboard & rims are of very high quality & they can be moved around quite easily. So U pay for all those things la. Huffy backboards are around RM700 I think, I saw 2 models at Studio R Midvalley.

I have one homemade one at my home, my brother & I spend around 2 weeks building it. The tiang we used old electrical pole (the wooden ones they're throwing away), the rim we bought for RM50 bucks, we spend RM50 buying one sack of cement. But that one permanent one la.

Good luck.
