well said finally, this is golden

i also been with Maxis 10yrs+ & nvr proud of it or ask for better treatment, i feel expensive i call for plan adjustment & get cheaper deal tats it

and NONE OF YOUR FUCKING BUISINESS (not saying to u x-frame) I stay with Maxis

chill~
*
Wow, you're one of those who pay rm10 for 1 teh tarik at mamak because it feel premium.

For your information that's what we're doing now, calling cs for plan adjustment because we feel current plan is expensive, but unfortunately they didn't want to offer us. They only offer the revised plan when we want to port out.

Do you feel premium and high class when you pay rm158 while other people pay rm68 for the same plan?

My contract till next yr. Tapi last monday i just go sunway pyramid maxis centre and cancel contract on the spot

Termination penalty-RM220.20
*
Lol, I pay RM2,121.80 to terminate zerolution contract at the centre (Actually device price) and then i got a bill shock on the next month because my bill include device price gst ( maxis one 158 plan + device gst) = RM391.85 total bill. I still don't know how they total it. Already pay RM279 ( RM93 x 3 mth) for their device zerolution fee.

Thanks for the advice. I will definitely go to Maxis Centre soon. Can also port out at the same day?
*
Yep you can port out on the same day. Maxis centre told my brother, he need to wait 2 hours to port out, but he just port out to celcom exactly right after that.

Just got called from Maxis, being offered package MOB118

Basically, it is 2 years contract, monthly commitment amount of RM118, with rebate of RM50 per month. So, effectively, will be paying RM68 for 2 years (24 months), and on 25th month, will need to pay RM118

The package consist of
Unlimited call and sms to any telco
5Gb data per month
Free Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace (option to upgrade)

What you all think?
*
Don't get into contract. WM will get the same EM plan later with unlimited late night quota and you will regret it.

It is a sign that Maxis is desperate. Prior to this back in mid 2015, they hardly bothered with those who ported out, randomly selecting a few to call. Now even 2 months with them also called?!

Good job Maxis!

For all you know, they might even start a tele-marketing team by calling all ex-Maxis customer!!
*
If they open their EM plan (with unlimited late night Internet) to the public, they don't need to call me because i'll go to their centre to port back laugh.gif

I guess so  ranting.gif
Been using the Surfmore 75, thinking I was lucky to get the "cheapest and best" plan out there, mana tau got RM88 + 8GB + Spotify + no contract
Been paying my bills on time, and using for so long and not considered "elite" enough
*
Yep you're one of those super selected customer. Elite user is the one who is brave enough to port out to other telco.

Unfortunately i'm not one of the selected elite. So here the benchmark.

- Maxis One Club Select Member.
- User for 14 years
- SurfMore 75 + extra = RM137/mth then change to MOP158
- MOP158 + Zerolution = RM260/mth
- Bill paid ontime, auto debit

Try to beat this and there's a chance 50% you will be selected as special elite customer.

Well some already get the offer without beating my benchmark. laugh.gif

I'm with Maxis since 2000 - owing two primary lines with spending exceeding RM400 per month. Their marketing failure and arrogance managed to pissed me off and there are no benefits at all as their loyal customer for over a decade. Ported to DiGi today.

Omg, you one of the super duper special elite customer also they didn't offer the elite loyalty super plan. Bad Maxis.

I was offered 7GB for RM118 3 days ago, i was on Surfmore RM75.

They say the offer is based on our current usage and and tenureship along with payment records.

For those who did not get this offer, i suggest you to enable auto-debit payment for your  account and i am sure you will get a call from them, provided you are with Maxis for over 2 years.
*
I dont think so because i was on mop158+zerolution with auto-debit, using maxis for 14 years and club member and didn't get selected. Maybe it's because i mnp on weekends. biggrin.gif

Well, think about how many customers they have to call and evaluate/calculate for whatever plans they want to offer based on their usage, all i know is that whatever plan they are offering is actually based on your monthly average usage.
For my case, i am on Surfmore 75, my monthly bill is about 100-+, so they offer me RM118, and i do see some get the same plan at cheaper rate (RM98 or RM88), so maybe their monthly usage is lower that what they offered to them in average?

And i did not port out for them to offer me this, they called me. So maybe it's your turn soon, or just call in and asked to speak to the marketing dept.
*
Well i already port out to celcom 1st gold and then a month later to Digi 78. Double port out laugh.gif i'm happy with digi coverage and speed right now.

No comments on digi customer service though because i'm not having any problem yet. No need to contact customer service to talk about life, like maxis customers. rclxms.gif

Bro, I was told Celcom only provide conditional call forwarding e.g. forward when unavailable, when busy, when out of coverage, when not answer. Unconditional forward all calls is not available.
Can you help to confirm that whether first gold plan can do unconditional call forwarding with the following gsm commands?
Unconditional call forwarding
*21*phone number#
To undo : #21#

The feature of unconditional call forward is that all incoming calls will be forwarded while your phone can remain on with mobile coverage to receive only data and sms.
*
I use unconditional call forwarding before this with celcom first gold to divert my call to my #hotlink number.

I can confirm unconditional call forwarding can be use with celcom. My house don't have celcom line, that's the reason i changed to digi 75.

after I read this short article, i have noticed how emotion has driven us.

Before that issue popped out, I believe there were unhappy customers, but that case has an effect to bring out emotion to everyone else and hence the chain effect.

Yes, we feel cheated, and that is purely our emotion. We only feel cheated when the east malaysia package came out. So, when other service provider came out a gold plan, we didn't feel cheated, did we? Same, before the gold plan came out, means we were paying at a higher price, and did we feel "cheated"?

It is not matter who is right or wrong, I am just noticing our emotion drive our so called "rational" decision.

That is because when other introduced new plan, old user also can get it,

but with telco M, no one know how to get the super secret special plan. Their cs also don't know about it.

How much did you pay for the 21 month contract? Mine was for a 128GB 6S+ with the Maxis One 128.
*
Is it zerolution? Well actually it's not a penalty but it the device price. You are not the owner of the device until you fully paid the device price.

So you don't need to calculate anything, just pay (aka. bought) the device then port out.

I pay aka. Bought rm2,120 for my device just to port out to celcom and now digi. Soon to be umobile.

But Maxis is recognise overseas. Some oversea telcos have maxis in their system if one wants to use local datas. There are no Celcom, Digi or whatever Crap telcos. Maxis still rule and that is the reason i m sticking to Maxis despite their steep prices. Anyway, if one cannot afford maxis' steep cost in lieu of its convenience then feel free to change. For me, no problem at all

Hi maxis, can i port in to rm68 with 5gb plan?

Well, i'm using more than 20gb/mth, (80% by my wife watching drama streaming)

digi pospaid 78 7gb + digi bb 20gb + hotlink ec/em (unlimited late night).

No cable line to my house, so strictly mobile only.
