Should I try to port out to get better offer? To be honest, I think Maxis coverage and network (call/internet) is the most stable in Malaysia, but price is the most expensive too.

At a period, I really consider to port to Celcom but consider their customer service quality really bad when I call to find out more.

How you determine as an Elite member to eligible to these package?
- Hotlink since 1997.
- Postpaid since 2001, 15yrs+.
- MOC member.
- MOP158 x1 main + MOP128 x1 main+ TM28 x1 main + SM30 x1 supp + Zerolution only RM93 x1 (Average monthly bill RM550-650).
- Never late payment in 15yr+, only 1-2 times late for few days coz changing credit card.

I really pissed off when I heard Maxis giving special package to others without a standard criteria(s). So should I try to ask them in advance/politely like what other forumer did? If I really fck them, I will make sure I will never return to them anymore. Please advise or give case studies. Thank you.

After reading all this I'm actually a tiny bit surprised that there are still people that are using maxis.
Maxis sucks in every single way....every single way.There is only 2 reasons to use it:
1. You're not a smart consumer and don't know about any other telco
2. You're tied to a contract

I was a loyal maxis user for 11 years and decided to port out to celcom last year. Now I'm on Digi's 7GB plan as it is the best for me currently.

Basically I got an email from TSales@maxis.com.my telling me the available plans and discounts so I wanted to clarify whether they are Bona fide or not. Then User Maxis just pmed me saying they are taking down the thread saying something bout internal document and never answered my questions.

I thought this place was where we can ask stuff?

I am currently on Surfmore RM75 plan and every month, I make about RM20 to 30 calls. So monthly bill about RM105 for data and calls. On top of that, I pay RM 10 for spotify and another RM10 for a supplemental line (voice only). So, total monthly bill around RM135. I am also using Maxis Fiber (20 Mbps) @ RM198 per month. No choice as my area only have Maxis.

If I switch to Celcom RM80, I have to pay additional:
Spotify - RM 10
Supplemental Line - RM30

Total Celcom = about RM120 and no discount for my Maxis Fiber.

If I change to Maxis 128 plan, I pay:

Spotify - free
Additional 3GB data
Supplemental line - RM 10
Maxis Fiber - RM 28 discount

So, after some calculation, I decided to stick with Maxis and switch from Surfmore RM75 to Maxis 128 mainly because of additional 3GB data, free spotify, cheaper supplemental line and a RM28 discount for my Maxis Home Fiber.

Maxhit and the ceo think that those who got offer, and those who got counter offer .. got no friend and family .. and wont talk/share with each other ...
This is what makes them so fail ..

They feel sorry for the unfair plan yet denied the sercet offer ..
They wanna appology in video yet show in a LCLY way ..
They wanna give more data to retrain yet forget about the loyal ivalue and surfmore plan ..

And gunner here always ask those who still have contract to diam diam .. they dont understand the contract holder here just wanna ask for more data since maxhit giving to one plan user ..

Paying RM 88 a month..dono wad will happen

This is why people are getting mad at maxis. Each CS give different answers. Yesterday few of us already confirm with CS tru phone. The rm68 and rm88 still can enjoy the benefits of mop158 & mop188 but without the data upgrade. Wait & see for the next cycle bill.

Maxis is really doing something that I too cant accept as a loyal cust for 17 years.

I have received a call from their so called "SAVE" department
And they gave a promo which is the maxis ONEplan 158 with RM80 Rebate.
So my bill will be RM78 every month with 5GB (at the time) with 2 years contract

I didnt mind as I was interested and agreed verbally on the phone they claimed which is recorded.

When I found out that they were giving much bigger data I was happy as I thought I will stick to RM78 and get 15GB of data.

I WAS WRONG

last week. I checked my data thru the MyMaxis app and found out my plan was DOWNGRADED to maxis ONEplan 98 instead without notifying me at all!!

I gave them a call and they said they did because of the plan changes and decided to  maintain my 5GB of data only but the good part is they removed my contract.

I dont mind the contract but I WANT THAT 15GB of DATA for RM78 because uMobile is already giving RM70 = 15GB .

What the hell maxis?! seriously!!!
