One thing you can be sure. It's very competitive between those telco's.

A. Today, it might be telco A who has the best deal.
B. Tomorrow, it might be telco B.
C. After that, it could be telco C.

If you think you got a good deal now, it is likely to change in future.

It is true that existing customers often do not get offered the new attractive deals offered to new customers, and that tends to happen with most types of companies.

The question is whether it is worth your while to monitor these things, and take the time to work out whether it's better or worse in your case, and switch if not.

I have done it before, but realistically, in the longer term, there are not much difference between the telcos. Why? if they are consistently worse than the competitors, they will go out of business.

So, in the longer term, there's not much difference between them.

I'm not comparing telco to telco.. what I'm pissed now. why in the same telco you can offer ppl who decided to leave with close to 3 times cheaper plan compare to ppl who stays and when ppl question them about the unfair treatment to loyal customers, they buat bodoh like an idiot. If maxis is expensive than other telco i have no issue at all. because i always believe maxis have a better CS compare to others. But now in the same telco you give such idiot treatment to your loyal customers!
*

Actually, you are comparing telco to telco.

If there are NO OTHER TELCO's, we would not be having this discussion.

Because there is ANOTHER telco that is cheaper, they are trying to retain your business rather than lose to THE OTHER telco.

Now, trust me -- the other telco's are doing exactly the same thing. They are offering a cheaper price to attract you. Do you know they are also offering the same deal to all THEIR EXISTING CUSTOMERS? I suspect not.

At the end of the day, the customer decides.

Kena rogol dengan kena piap piap sama jugak.

Jadi kalau nampak perogol ,  panggil dia sweet heart?

Stupid comparison.

You don't like the deal you are getting, change telco. No one if forcing you to stay.

Telcos change their deals almost everyday. So, are you going to keep switching telcos everything there is a new attractive deal?

You want to waste your time doing that, that's up to you.

For me, I look at the longer term. But you probably have no idea what "longer term" means.

But realistic, it is really up to you to decide what is best for you, so you can stop this "rogol" rubbish.

other telcos are offering cheaper price to attract customer yes and they announced it and everyone can change to that plan if they wanted to. But this Maxis now is giving some cheap deal to customer who decided to leave instead of other customer which using the same service in same company. And yes they are trying to retain their business rather than lose to the other telco, but if your customer found out you are giving such deal even you didnt announce it, why are you trying to deny it and not giving the same deal to your customer? being treated unfairly like this is totally nth to do with the telco to telco price war. it's how your company handling your customers.
*

I'm not defending them.

But ultimately, it is telco vs telco.

1. Spare a thought for the people working there and have to "deny it". It could be you, me, or anyone else, and the management have told them to just "do it". That's not an excuse, but it is reality.
2. I know, it seems unfair. Companies exists to make money, so there are very few companies that focus on earning less. That's reality again.
3. If there are no other cheaper telco's, we would not have this issue. You would have to stay with your existing telco, and pay through your nose.

Did I say that's reality. Well, it is.

What I'm saying is, other telcos are doing the same thing. But ultimately, the customer decides.

fifa 16 online match, 1 match roughly 10mb. not bad. usually left 1 gb data by the end of the month (with occasional web surfing n fb.)

my area has celcom n digi 4g too, but tested both n they r a bit laggy when it comes to gaming.

i have celcom magic sim for all my websurfing downloading works in midnight lol.

Just say you lazy la.

All your rubbish statement has no data to back it up.

What do you nean they are all the same?

Malas siap nak tipu.

Saying they are all the same is an insult to their marketing team.

Sincr you dont have number to prove it. Means you are just a dumb consumer and trying hard to justify your laziness.

The point you are trying to make is changing telco is useless because according to you they all even out in the end.

I'd like to see how  Maxis current plans could match Umobile or even Celcom's.
*

Errr, no I cannot do that, give you the plans to compare.

Even if I can, like say, I work for Maxis marketing, I would be shot down in flames, and LYN would drown in spam.

What I was saying was, over the long term, there would not be much difference.

But YOU, as the customer decides.

Some dumbass asked me for prove. For that dumbass, here's my finger.
