Thanks for showing that video of the stabilizer's rattling noise. I'll buy the black stabilizer too then.
If I select the orange choice for the PCB, which consists of PCB, stabilizer, and
半高乳壳"half height" shell (not sure if it's lip-less shell), do I need to buy the aluminium base? I've search this store and found a 60% Lip-less acrylic case 60% but worth RMB249. So I'm not sure if it would be possible that the store sells GH60PCB+Stabilzer+Lip-less 60% acrylic case at RMB349. Please confirm with me, I'm pretty confused now. rclxub.gif

For the PCB+Stabilizer+Case
https://world.taobao.com/item/44256491567.h...196601.5.iVlkdW

For the aluminium base
https://world.taobao.com/item/524570132986....96601.65.iVlkdW

As for the switches, I've selected Gateron Clear/White 透明5脚白 x70 pieces from the same store. Please advice thanks.

P/S: My order worth is over RM500, will I get into trouble with the custom?
*
the half-height case is lipless acrylic case, means your switches will be exposed ala floating keycap design. the aluminum base that you linked is actually the plate, you can add it to your build to make the keys more secure (hopefully)..

also, not sure if you know this, the Gateron Clear swithes are actually linear. means they are not Cherry MX Clear equivalent.

Ah, I thought all of the non-backlit versions are shipped with the orange-on-black keycaps.
Anyway here are some shots of the PCB. Not sure if there are resistors on it, but it seems like it.
It doesn't seem to have any cues to differentiate which hole is negative or positive though  hmm.gif

Also, some bonus shot for lolz while I was at it.

looks like the LED holes on the PCB are pre-soldered. you will have to desolder them before you can continue inserting LEDs sweat.gif

Yeah and there are no label on positive or negative terminal on the PCB itself for the LED hmm.gif
Also, there are compatible resistors right? sweat.gif

Planning to get a wireless keyboard for daily use. Not into gaming. Currently I saw a few models:

1. Logitech WIRELESS COMBO MK345:
https://www.logitech.com/en-my/product/wire...o-mk345?crid=27

2. Microsoft Wireless Desktop 850

3, Dell KM714

Any suggestion on which is better or any other better recommendation? laugh.gif

Okay thanks for the information. I'm aware of Gateron Clear being linear, on top of that I also bought Gateron black and 62g gold spring. Btw, are you saying that the lipless acrylic case makes the switches insecure?

Those are not mechanical keyboard, they are membrane keyboard I think. If you're okay with 60% keyboard, I know one are on sales at Taobao: user posted image
It's pretty cheap for 60% size bluetooth mechanical keyboard. Royal Kludge RK61 with back-lit priced at RMB 200/MYR127+-

that's not what I meant.. the stability of the switches depends on your soldering job that will fix the switches on the PCB. adding in the plate will also increase the stability.

TLDR: the lipless case is just for aesthetics purposes, won't affect the stability of your switches

Any keyboard enthusiast here that builds their own full size keyboard can suggest the PCB to buy from Taobao? My preference is fully functioning RGB with multiple effect, if possible with 108 keys, or just a normal 104/108 with single LED but with lighting effects because I'll install LED holder. Switches will be Gateron Blue, Corstar stabilizers if possible, without any logo like Keycool (it's so uncool...), and detachable usb cable.

I think the kit you are requesting is still fairly rare, especially it's a fulll size...
If you want RGB, why dont just go for the keyboard that cm storm is offering, although it's using cherry stab...
Meh, otherwise you can just design the PCB, case and plate yourself, problem solved.

Back to the topic, https://world.taobao.com/item/44256491567.h...96601.34.Re3Mvk is this okay for you? I think taobao has some people offering 104 full size acrylic case too, but not sure they fit it or not.

Design it myself would be too problematic for me. That PCB doesn't has detachable USB so that's a turn off unless there's a kit to make it detachable? If nothing else comes out I'll just settle with that PCB i guess.
