Seems generally when it comes to typing u guys recommend Filco and Topre

Anyone know where can I tryout this two brand?
*
I think Topre, you can try in Ultimate Zone.
However, for Topre, Malaysia do not have any distributor.
So, all Topre boards mainly are imported from japan and sell here. Don't expect it will be cheap.

For, Filco, perhaps hard to find already.
Almost no dealer for this brand.

Looking at your Filco stores.

Are there no plans to bring in the wireless fullsize Filco keyboards?

Are there any other brands than Filco for fullsize keyboards?

Thanks in advance.
*
Let be honest here, the sales very bad.
And if you want bring in certain model, we need to hit at least MOQ 10. 10 units are hard to hit.
Lots of people said want certain model, I only choose to run the most preferred model for now.

Hi all sifus,

Im currently looking for a way to quiet my mech keyboard (cherry mx red), then I found o-rings mod, but there are many types of o-rings available with different weights and softness/hardness.

So my question here: Are different type of o-rings give a different result? Is there the best o-ring to silent my keyboard? or any type of o-ring should do the job?

Thanks notworthy.gif
*
There are few o-rings type. Got soft and hard o-rings.

Hard o-rings can retain your typing feel, but sound dampening is so-so.
Soft o-rings good in sound dampening, but reduce lots of typing feel. Not really good typing experience for soft.

O-rings do available in different thickness. like normal (1.5mm), or thick (>1.7mm)..
Thicker provide better sound dampening. That's all.

If you looking to retain your typing feel, go for hard o-rings.

I think only K65 and K70 only.

K90 won't fit as it will be too big.

Sadly, it was not able to fit my Ducky Shine 3.
*
I see. Only for K65 and K70.

How heavy after you combine with the keyboard ?

After lurking around this thread for some time, just wanna share that finally I have managed to get myself my first mechanical keyboard: Aula Wings of Liberty RGB Gateron Blue Switch.

Basically I went over to Taobao and ordered myself a bundled promo of the said keyboard along with Aula's "Sanction" mouse. Total Damage was around RM 209 inclusive of shipping and it took 5 days to arrive at my doorstep.

So far I am happy with the performance of the keyboard albeit with a shoddy spacebar (The spacebar fell off upon my initial unboxing and I tried to assemble it back however now it seems to me that spacebar itself is slightly uneven i.e. slanting towards my right thumb, however I hope I can get an easy fix for this wink.gif )

Just a shoddy sample pic of the keyboard/mouse combo along with my lappie  wub.gif
