It depend on your requirement. In term of reliability, both are top. If you notice, we only sell selected model from minix and Himedia because we choose only top and reliable model.

For U1, it has very good English forum and you can search solution from the forum. Minix is official Kodi sponsor.

For Q10 pro, Himedia is well known in it codec support, use as online streaming plus media player, it support wide range of latest video and audio codec such as 4K HDR, 10bit colour, h.265, 7.1 audio passthru. In addition, Q10 pro has Harddisk enclosure which convert your media player become mini NAS system.

Overall, U1 and Q10 are good android tv box. It depend on your key requirement and budget.

There are plenty of free apps could watch tv1,2 3, but live sports I will not guaranty as sports broadcasts are easily blocked or out of service.

There is build in Miracast and Air play mirror apps, but I don't think your PC has air play sender or miracast sender. Mirroring is depend on two side, sender and receiver. Minix already build in with receiver, the next is depend on your PC, you need to find the right sender app and install in your PC. If you use MAC, there is build in air play sender, if you use Windows the you need to find the suitable app in your PC.

Please follow the below, if your Kodi screen different from below, pls goto google drive and restore your Kodi from from "5 steps quick restore" guide under Kodi 16 subfolder.
