I'm now using redmi note 2 also bought from gem5. Verified with mi Malaysia online live chat after i received the unit last time and yes it's local mi Malaysia set.

If u still have doubt, u can purchase from satugadget, or greenfone shop in KL and verify the imei with live chat before u pay.

Tell the mi staff u wanna check warranty then give him/her the imei of the phone.

i've been using rn2 for some time with latest stock miui 7.2.2, the ram is not an issue for me. i use whatsapp, fb, browser, insta, wechat, gaming, waze, video, youtube never lag or hang. imo the ram is meant to be used.

+1 for the gold color is quite common these days. that's why i picked the grey for rn3. tongue.gif

google for gbwhatsapp, it's a modded whatsapp app. u can use normal whatsapp from play store for one number and another with gbwhatsapp

This is very subjective . I suggest u go for one time investment on 64gb so u won't need to buy a new card and do the transfer in future when u run out of memory.

Yes it can do backup but my way of backup with gbwhatsapp is I backup to local folder not to Google drive. Just copy the whole folder to memory card or USB if u wanna move to a new phone.

I bought from g5 on the 8th around 3.xx PM, I received the item this morning while the g5 order still showing acknowledge
