if I can easily do battery pull, soft brick would not be an issue at all

so far just like that, red bar 100% but no yellow bar and green check.

Hi guys, just received RN3 from 1G. When I opened and tried to power it on but nothing happened. Think it might be out of juice. But when I charging it, not display anything and I press the power button and nothing on screen. What should I do? Is this unit consider broken? mad.gif bangwall.gif cry.gif icon_question.gif doh.gif

2 possibilities. Either the battery is empty or the baterry is kong (lemon unit).

If the battery is empty, you need to charge the phone overnight first. Some phones do need a long time to become alive once the battery becomes empty. Tomorrow if still no respond, then you should go to 1G for further action.

what I missed was
1- Test Mode
2- install mtk VA driver

Owh...so 1 day no phone...haha...
New to flashing? Never ever miss step in flashing or you will bleed your eye reading many more.

So how the new rom compared to the old one?

solved by manually installing google play 6.0
then remove google account

Hi, any of u guys experiencing GPS issue? Went to directd to buy 1 but he said RN3 got GPS issues in Malaysia. is it true?

Doesn't have any problem with GPS.

Eagerly waiting for official version launching in Malaysia, then the AP MTK set will be selling cheaper than now. biggrin.gif Want to grab one for my wife when the price drop, hopefully.

Because they flashed modified rom and that rom are unable to use GPS but rather GLONASS
