Or is the online price rised a bit because of shipping n tax stuffs? Because if the price at stores is cheaper around 200myr. I wanna buy the 256gb version of 13in mbpr if its cheaper la (online price rm6799 very costly :'/

Apple authorized reseller such as Machines, Harvey Norman, should sell the same as online price. In online store, you can get student discount if you are a student.

Personally if you think about gaming, I'll go for windows. Otherwise if you just want a Mac OS, then go for Mac. I personally prefer Windows because my engineering softwares are mostly Windows based.

Also, there's an Apple Byte forum discussing Macs, this section is mostly Windows laptops.

There are sellers in garage sales selling for way lower prices. Get from them instead.

I see. Im an spm 2015 leaver and currently applying for universities(so i dont have a student id card yet) and yet can i get education discount? If so,what should i bring? My spm slip? Hahahaha

And does the student price also applicable through purchases at physical stores like at Machines or only online?

I use mac mainly for work/study,got a windows 7 laptop good enough for moderate gaming.

Sorry i posted here, because no one replied in the apple byte section :'(

from what I know for education price, you need a college offer letter and student id to proof it (better call apple customer support to get more info)
yet, only buy from apple store website can get education price, reseller like machines, mac city, etc ... don't have at all
