If U're using AmeSecurities, U can trade both normal lots and odd lots yourself. I've bought some odd lots myself; It's just like buying normal lots. But I would advice U to just keep the 8 shares cos to sell it the brokerage fee will be very high in percentage terms, and could even be more than the share sold, e.g. if I were to sell 8 shares of RM1 per share, brokerage already cost RM6.36, stamp duty is rm1, clearing fee also need to pay, so the total fee I've to pay is about RM8, then I get nothing for selling the 8 shares. So why bother selling. Mind U, I've doing the trading myself, but if I were to go thr's a broker, the brokerage fee is a lot higher, meaning I've to pay the brokerage firm to sell the 8 shares.
