Hey guys, I got a question.

I waxed my car with meguiars ultimate paste wax once a month. I feel that the waxing feel reduce after I wash my car every week. I only use normal wash n wax car wash from jusco.

Any product that can use after every car wash (before next waxing time) to prolong the wax and give my car shiny look?

I am thinking of meguiars quik detailer mist and wipe, meguiars ultimate quik detailer and meguiars ultimate quik wax. Or I should also change to a better car wash shampoo?

Any suggestion and why?

Today just finish my car wash! Really satisfied with meguiars products!

After car wash with meguiars ultimate car wash, apply ultimate quik wax. My car now is smooth like silk.

Quik wax is really good product to use in between every ultimate paste wax in 2 or 3 months time.

diluted shampoo is the most economical way. but need to rinse with water after claying.

if not can try
1. Meguiars Quik Detailer
2. Optimum ONR
3. Meguiar's Last Touch (pro range)

As bro slk mentioned about the clay lubricant, so wont elaborate further. However, if u never owned a claybar kit before, then can buy the Meguiars Claying Kit available in most Ace Hardware outlets. It already comes with 1 bottle of Meguiars Quik Detailer and 2 claybars (each bar can cut into 2 for more uses), so no need headache on what claybar and what lubricant to use.

Just to share a technique I use to maximize Quik Detailer with minimal wastage, when spraying it on body surface squeeze the trigger while moving left to right or up to down. Dont spray on one spot or stagnant position. This will give more coverage of lubricant to car surface. If done right, 1 bottle Quik Detailer can cover 2 typical sedan cars for claying.

Thanks for the info. Just to confirm, my car is just 5 months old. I have used Meguairs ultimate paste wax (2 times in 5 months) and ultimate quik wax (after every car wash with ultimate car wash). If I clay bar it, will it remove the wax I have applied (paste wax) to my car?

I also have a ultimate quik detailer for cleaning bird shit.

Just share with u guys, I bought Meguairs ultimate car wash, ultimate quik detailer and ultimate quik wax at Rm84.

Another question, when I use the quik wax, sometimes it will accidentally spray on the rubber side of my car and left the white colour stain, how can I remove it?
