Hi all sifus. My car have been recently hit with bird poo. I have removed the poo within 24 hrs but due to the extreme hot weather nowadays, there's etch marks on the car's paint. cry.gif I've run my hands through the etching and there's no rough edges or scratches around the area. I have done some research about this and some ppl said using a lubricant with a claybar can help to reduce or remove the etching to a minimum, followed by waxing. Any other suggestions on this issue?  notworthy.gif

rinse > wash > clay > polish/wax > sealant

that's what you can do for now, if i were to park outside i rather park in open area without trees and overhead cable that attract bird poo and tree sap, sometimes those "shade" give you more trouble that good shakehead.gif

is there any shop that i can go to get most of the car wash stuff under one roof?

need to get some claybar, polish, shampoo and some microfiber cloth, the car section in Mr DIY or supermarket doesn't have some of stuff i'm looking for, and if order online gonna take some time because of the lazy J&T delivery

Oh yeah, thank you. But sorry if I have mistaken, wouldn't spray wax be more lubricating to remove bird poop?

Also, another question, is it true that we can put Cerakote graphene spray over ceramic coating?
I remember seeing someone saying can but I can't find that post anymore.

spray wax over bird poop will seal the poop to your car paint and when you try to remove it you will need to clean off the layer of wax first before you clean the poop

i use Optimum Rinse and Shine waterless wash, mix it with water and keep it spray bottle and put it in car, the ratio can be a bit more concentrated compare to normal ratio, you can use waterless wash from other brand too, just get those without wax, 3M and Meguiars have it too

when got poop just spray using the spray bottle and wipe with tissue, for those hardened poop you will need to cover the poop with tissue then spray generous amount of shampoo on the tissue, let it sit for 30 second to 1min then wipe it off, repeat the process until the poop is cleaned off

you can use WD40 also, but it is oily to your hand
