You park your car for a very long time, no driven? If yes, then no other way except washing.

You should wax it to get prevent more dust to stick on the paint. You may try Meguiar's Ultimate Paste Wax or Soft99 Kiwami Black.

Just to imagine how heavy the building/land constructions of your car parking area. Impossible to get that much dust every day.
Have you shoot the dust with high pressure washer? Should be quite easy to shoot them away.

Any DA machine will do it or by hand. Cordless also can but make sure it is DA. I'm using meguiar one.

Ok, this one i can answered you. If you just to protect your car without any paint correction, then this is well enough. This is the exactly method that i used to make the car like show car condition when i'm not doing any paint correction.

last time don't have meguiar hyrid ceramic wax, my step are as follows:

1. wash with shampoo
2. monthly meguiar ultimate liquid wax or paste wax
3. meguiar synthetic x-press wax every 2 weeks for wax maintenance. i have 2 cars, every week i washed, that's why 2 week per car. this can applied on wet surface right after you washed car. if you applied on dry, you can feel the smoothness of the product. it is versatile products.

now got meguiar hybrid ceramic wax, for point 3,  sometimes i used MHCW or x-press wax, either one will do. spray wax can use for interior paintwork such as door and body. smooth smooth 

Since the meguiar ultimate liquid wax or paste wax are expensive, so need to put something on top of it to prolong it. So MHCW comes into play, so much cheaper and ease of use. The ease of use is almost like spray wax.

If you go for paint correction yourself, then add below sequences:
1. wash with shampoo
2. ultimate compound, i don't used clay. compound alone can clean above and below contamination to bring out your paintwork to full potential.
3. ultimate polish. this step is to refine the paintwork after compounding, it does add gloss 
4. meg liquid wax, this step provides wet look, water beading and sheeting, gloss and durability as well. it provide level of depth when you see in real enviroment.
5. meg HCW or spray wax for weekly maintenance.
HCW - this step add another durability, water beading and sheeting, and self cleaning only.

Step 2 & 3, i only do once or twice a year only when got 3 days holiday in a row. no need much. It is advisable to use DA machine. your car will be show car condition 365 days,
