Guys,
Not sure this has been asked before or not. Have anybody here tried to polish the ppf surface before? I tried to google, the answer is not convincing enuf.
Im planning to wrap the ppf at the front of the car and thw rest of the panel gonna leave it just as is followed by usual care method, coating/wax or sealant.
The plan are after a year or 2 maybe need to reapply the coating on the ppf but prior to that for sure we need to prep the surface first. It wont be an issue to compound and polish for the rest of the panel, my concern is the panel which got ppf on it. How can we prep it to layer a new coating?
Only worth to polish when the ppf got dark, stained or watermark. Not sure this has been asked before or not. Have anybody here tried to polish the ppf surface before? I tried to google, the answer is not convincing enuf.

If scratches just change the ppf.
But in my experience any compound should work. I’ve been using polarshine 10 and uno advanced to remove the watermark/stained and no problem so far…just dont press too hard ya or the ppf will get burned
