Was looking at the comments/ratings section and the pics they shared. Most comments were quite positive about the ease of use and how shiny their cars were after application.

At RM95, looks interesting!

Anyways, much depends if you're the type that prefers to regularly wash and maintain your rides or opting for coating since there are many other players out there too.

Good luck!

I bought at shopee around RM 89 with free shipping during 9/9 . After receive and applied will update the pics here hehe . Was wanting to buy Cquartz3.0 or lite kit since my myvi is already 5 years instead just buy a cheaper ceramic coating hehe .Securetech have thier detailing shop too @RM299 promo coating without polish . Previously bought like those RM10 mr H fix from lazada ... all are junk , oily after applied ( never cures and did not turn into glass at all and flamable when test with lighter .

Stay tuned ! biggrin.gif

You're quite an adventurous person! Haha. I haven't explored coating cos I prefer to DIY my cars - from wash till waxing/sealant stage. Only thing missing is vacuuming and interior detailing. biggrin.gif

Anyways, will await the updates with bated breath! brows.gif

Any recommended small polish machine out there? Wanted to use it to polish watermark on windscreen and also some small area on my car. Already got a normal size machine to polish my car but I find it difficult when it comes to some narrow areas.

If I remember correctly, Osren carries a slightly smaller DA as well - around 3 inches for the backing plate.

Not sure how much it is - and whether you have a particular budget in mind when looking for the small polish machines.

Just to share my experience, for those dots on windscreen if wash with wash mitt + car shampoo, they come back very fast. Need a good scrub to get rid of them, I use a non-scratch scotch brite scrubbing sponge (that are used to wash dishes) + APC / diluted dish soap. After a good scrub they won't come back as fast.

Hmmm, then it should be easily wiped away with wet microfiber cloth. I've also used soft99 glaco ultra which is more durable and resistant to watermarks. Might be dust from the recent Haze. Does this only happens the next morning after yesterday whereby any cleaning by wiping clean the windscreen?

yes yes, it can be wiped off easily or by washing the car, but it comes back 'easily' too...
it happens the next day after bathing it since last sunset, maybe there is mist during midnight combo with haze

You could use claybar if you wanted. I usually give it a good srub about once in a month. If not will get watermark even if coated with rainx. So far haven't found a way to prevent this yet.

Just make sure after washing or wiping clean. Use a dedicated window cloth to dry the glass on windscreen to prevent moisture as it tends to draw more dust.

I suspect it's due to 'road traffic film' as sometime car cleaning guru mentions. I think normal car shampoo + wash mitt not enough to get rid of it completely and they may seem cleaned after u do usual wash, but I suspect there is a thin layer of oil there that makes it easier to kena watermark again.

So based on above assumption I do a deeper scrub + stronger chemicals.

yes, using a dedicated mf cloth only for drying glass, windscreen, windows, headlamps and taillights. then nothing much can be done since it's environmental changes dry.gif

I also a bit worried about this so that's why I got a non-scratch scrubbing sponge, so far no problem with once a month scrub using this.

I can't say for sure if use claybar.. Coz I don't clay my windows very often, But maybe you can consider using clay cloth instead. I feel it is less aggressive then clay bar.
