I see. Will APC like multi clean be too strong even when diluted? Or better to use fabric cleaner?

Haha. Yea. I held the middle actually whilst I applied pressure on the nozzle. Almost cut my palms when the bottle cracked. Likely plastic brittle cos I've placed it outdoors and probably exposed to the humidity and heat.

Not first time to Maybank though and I was itchy to apply the card last week when I saw it. Lol. The T&C to get a chance for the 5000 coins is to spend RM300 with the card within 30 days or 45 days if I'm not mistaken...

Meg's Hyper Dressing can tahan our wet and hot weather? If yes that this would be a very useful product.

I also wonder for exterior trim, is it better to apply dressing, OR just spray SiO2 to protect them? OR is it possible to apply dressing THEN spray SiO2 to seal them? Hmm.
*
Ive been using Hyper Dressing for engine bay and wheel wells only... its water based so durability is less compared to silicone/oil based dressing

for exterior trim, best is to glass coat them.. will last around 1 year ++. no maintenance is required.

I see.. hmm. I have yet to explore glass coating on exterior trims. But makes sense coating should be superior to dressings in terms of durability and chemical resistance.

Any recommendations for exterior trim coatings? tongue.gif

GYEON TRIM!
Best if you can get it from UK. If not ebay. last resort- local dealer

Hmm. Thanks for the tip smile.gif the trim sure looks good! Darkening effect + protection is a definite win combo. Haha. Tho seems like it's for plastic only and not rubber. Website says it takes quite a long time to cure too.
I also like to spray trim with wax / SiO2. Easiest way tongue.gif but trying to explore more durable options at the same time.

Just browsing the Osren's page, any difference between Perfect 50 & NAO Leveler 56? From the description I can see gloss level on 56 is better [7/10 vs 4/10].

Both works well for orange peel and paint defects.
*
P50 = old old old product
NAO56 = brand new product

Got to admit this cordless blower was the best purchase ever for me. It rained this morning then just now I saw still have water on my car so... took the blower out and dried the car. Not perfect but had to do quickly, and I need a better beading car to ease my process. Won’t be using cloth cause it’s dirty 😀

Just curious.

Whipped out the DA today but still can't get swirl free finish on my test area on the bonnet.

Tried these 2 combination

1. Perfect Cut 20 with blue wool Speed 3

2. Nao 46 with blue wool speed 3

3. Finish with White Pad Meg's Dark Wax Speed 2

End result is smooth but not really mirror finish with some visible swirls still. Any tips?

Right sided of pic has been detailed. Masking tape line down the middle:

looks like DA haze from your 46//blue wool. you should not have holograms from DA, Holograms is only from GA or RB. If you are noticing holograms, it may be the unwanted "free gift" smile.gif

try to finish with PC20//white or black pad. check with 45 degree angle from the light source and move around to check your job.

lastly... take it easy, dont stress up and enjoy rclxm9.gif DO NOT RUSH!

Hey guys, just collected a new corolla altis (black) yesterday. Currently divided on whether to send it for any type of coating. With so many coating options nowadays, such as ceramic coating, glass coating, SiO2, etc, how do I make my choices? TIA for your advise.
*
If you can self wash the car with proper technique, then coat the car. If not, stick to wax/sealant.

If you want to send the car for coating, can try Osren HQ at Kepong. give them a call. Then maintain regularly with coating topper

Get a drill velcro backing plate from shopee/ali express. But it is ok for spot polishing only. Drill is not designed for prolong use
