Couldn't stand my tiny water pressure anymore.
Buying Karcher pressure washer soon. K2 should be sufficient? Max 100bar pressure. I'm sure with a pressure washer the car wash would be so much more fun |

QUOTE(Roman Catholic @ Nov 27 2017, 08:29 AM) Yeah! It's bothering me so much that I am just sitting it out until someone decides to make it operate SILENTLY. Sales would fly through the roof I reckon. Induction motor used in K3.450 for example should reduce the amount of noise.. A Chinese (China) told me that Karcher's motor are being phased out in China since they're moving onto induction motors..QUOTE(douglas_tong @ Nov 27 2017, 12:39 PM) It is not sthat loud to me. But I heard k4 is quieter lol.. Probably getting a chinese pressure washer. Let's see The pressure washing part shouldn't take more than 5 mins I suppose. Can la. Close one ear lol |

QUOTE(alvinrenren @ Dec 1 2017, 06:14 PM) If have the budget then straight get k5, especially u have few cars and big area at home that you need to clean( floor/ gutter) and save you a lot of time. If not get something in the middle and get the accessories like floor washer connection, foam gun, under car connection..... No budget at the moment, and dayum k5 costs more than 1k Kind of difficult to get the accessories, usually only see them at home Dec etc where they open stall 😅. Now wait for next home Dec to get the under carriage washer and floor washer. I'll review here once I get it |

2017 has been good.
Started off with putting more emphasis on car aesthetics, despite the fact that they're not mine but building on foundations once I got a car of my own after started working Finally got a full set of DA, pads, solutions for compounding and polishing, pressure washer etc etc. I hope this won't be a 3 minute thing and I'll put more effort into this in 2018 Wax on, wax off |

QUOTE(amdhunter @ Apr 23 2018, 02:46 PM) My dad has been using for years and so am I since I was unable to find a substitute. But Rain X being a ASoTV (As Seen on TV) product it works but there has to be a better consumer product out there which lasts longer and causing less problem to wiper I reckonQUOTE(blurcase @ Apr 23 2018, 02:59 PM) Mmm, stopped using rainX long time ago because it made a rainbow-like streaks on my old Nissan Sunny and also makes wiper judder when I eventually need to use wiper for heavy thunderstorms. Then again, that was nearly 20 years ago when I stopped, so not sure if the formula improved. How often do you polish your windshield then? Nowadays I dont apply anything on my windshield, though I may consider again if the right product comes along. In my case, wiper juddering often occur when I apply rain X on a untreated windshield. It does happen for a short period then after that it's like seasoned to it Now that I have not been top up a fresh layer of rain X on it, the water spots started to build up and wiper started to judder again I'm supposed to do ceriglass and rain X today but it's now raining so heavily |

QUOTE(blurcase @ Apr 23 2018, 09:06 PM) Mmm, to be honest I dont have a fixed schedule on polishing the windshield. While paint and clearcoat may have issues like scratches and swirls that make me wanna polish more regularly, for windshield so long as not alot of watermarks then I tend to leave it for a fairly long time. At best I will clay the windshield when claying the rest of the car, but thats about it. I'm totally the opposite, windshield bothers me the most. I enjoy looking at the rainwater gliding away a lot QUOTE(slk @ Apr 23 2018, 09:43 PM) This was with an expired version of Osren's Glass coating... bought long time ago but "no time" to apply Looks good. Does it last?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2KZx65RA3kE however i've bought a new bottle and its fantastic! |

QUOTE(blurcase @ Sep 7 2018, 08:48 AM) I used it before, decent cleaning power. How u use it on ur rims? Spray, leave it for 30 seconds and brush.Commonly used is 3M mounting tape, grey colour. https://www.lelong.com.my/3m-adhesive-stick...9-04-Sale-P.htm Would a iron fallout remover works better? |

QUOTE(blurcase @ Sep 7 2018, 10:22 AM) U are using it to clean just the outer surface, or to clean the inner rim as well? U using it diluted or neat? I use super degrease for tires, it works well but need a lot brushing and elbow power. And probably around 3 rounds of brushing. Diluted 1:4. Works fine and I've still got a lot so I don't plan to try out another products. As I recall, Megs Wheel Brightener is acid based, its cleaning power isnt that different from the alkaline based ones (at least visually speaking). If u are interested to try the opposite spectrum, u can either try Megs Super Degreaser or SuperClean Degreaser. Wheel brightener (rim) I use it for outer surface and once in a while inner rim. Lacking cleaning power probably due to brush quality (low density) if not due to the product.. Been eyeing on the iron fallout but they said it looks good but the cleaning power worse than wheel brightener To finish off, of course is megs endurance tire gel |

QUOTE(blurcase @ Sep 7 2018, 03:17 PM) U can also try using your Super Degreaser for your rims, see if it helps cleaning faster. Will try Hmm, u sound like u are comfortable with ur current combination. Why change? Unless u have an issue that u cant solve. Do you wipe rim with microfibre clothes after washing and do you wax your it? |
