I think better not to drive the car for time being after being coated regardless of they using some fancy UV light drier thing.

It's all about business, that's why no way they will encourage customers to leave their cars overnight or longer, as their space is quite limited, so they make all sort of claims. When I contacted NanoShine, they replied in general (that it should be ok to expose to rain), but they didn't dare to reply me if they can confirm that if it will still affect the coating, even by a smaller margin.

Whoa, Ceramic Pro now charges for top up? The last time I did my top up at KL branch is back around March last year, just send without questioning me too much and no charges at all.

After your wash did the hydrophobic effect return? dirt and oil film buildup does affect the effect. For my case, usually after a good wash the effect will return.

I only washed once so far, still have the effect, but I didn't really manage to compare to immediately after coating and now, since right after coating I kena very heavy rain already, but I feel like the hydrophobic effect like not really impressive, but then again, there's nothing for me to compare against so it's hard to judge.

I noticed that too they indirectly try to clear off their daily coating job asap. At least they cant do to mine as I did ppf and also they kind of allowed to keep the car longer than usual (i think like one week at least). Surely they would love to get rid of my car but they cant since I opt for their ppf pkg. sweat.gif

The period when i did my coat/ppf was also during the dry month so that does help in a way or so too

Yes it is a sad fact, my buddy told me he make sure the weather day he picked up the car was hot and sunny so that he can quickly bring the car back home.

I usually wash my car at my local car wash shop (not some fancy branded shop).

They usually ask me to go for water wax... is water wax actually useful or is it just a marketing gimmick?

I go to the car wash about twice a month, should I even bother with waxing?
