Can anyone confirm if the first PO with 128gb m-SD and additional warranty is guaranteed for each pre-order or is it first come first serve basis? Language used is very vague and I have not gotten a reply from Samsung Malaysia on twitter.

Based on the vague language my worry is they would say first come first serve basis and what stop the dealer from saying they have run out of the sd card and warranty?

If anyone has gotten clarification would appreciate posting it here thanks!

this year will have S7 edge + or not?
*
unlikely seeing as how S7 Edge's screen size has grown. Would not make sense to create another version with 5.7inch screen when there is one with 5.5inch already.

Called samsung service centre to clarify, they said the first 1000 pre order will definitely have 128gb memory card, not first come first serve
*
I believe all will also get the 1 year additional warranty?

Thanks

I have no idea why the first 3000 have to chase for the free gifts by first come first serve term. I thought this campaign will be based on orders and allocate the stocks to participating outlets for collection but it's not. To sum up, this pre order campaign is a mess and half assed.
*
Been getting confirmation from buyers. So far tried asking samsung on twitter and FB but no response. Don't see the difficulty to confirm if it is allocated to each pre-order

Having both maxis and celcom lines, i can tell you both are not perfect. However where both lines have full 4G connection, celcom is much faster

Damn...just check with Nu sentral branch. Visa/Master Card charge 2%, American Express Charge 5%, Installment Charge 5%  sweat.gif  sweat.gif
*
What the hell they seem to be the only one charging. Even KLCC outlet doesn't charge. Can't we change outlets? Can't even have the freedom to choice mode of payment

Just checked with Samsung Mid Valley, phone can be collected from 12pm onwards on 17 Match,  0% installment plan is available without extra charges.  Not sure if they will have any casing for sales as they don't have any stocks for it. If accessories have arrived on that day, then they will start selling it. Else you gonna have to wait.

They also mention as long as you have pre-ordered, they will reserved your unit and guarantee will have it.
*
So only freaking nu sentral outlet charging for cc??

yeah fully agreed. i din even bother to call or what. previous gear s2 pre-order also js walk in and collect it.
dunno why some ppl so fussy and some even thought the microSD it will be first came first serve whereby in the email already clearly state about it. it also use simple english so that people can understand.

seeing some of 2nd batch ppl complaining of the 64gb card, i'm also js like WTFish....haha
*
Well its clearly stated in simple English i should pay a remaining of RM2179.20....yet some dealers are charging 2% 5% etc. You see where things become more complicated?

If you pay by cash, dealers don't have right to charge you any extra fees.
Only when you pay by CC, the extra charges might occur.
Many retail shop in Malaysia did charge this fees to their customers.
*
This is a fee charged to the business. They should not be charging it back to customers. Yes i can pay by cash but its the principle of it, i as a consumer should have the right to choose. Just because many Malaysian firms choose to cheat their customers it doesn't become acceptable.

In the case of Samsung they had put a clause under the terms & conditions that the SD card and warranty is on first come first serve basis. Language used was vague and as such i do not think its wrong to get clarification which Samsung failed to provide as such buyers decided to take action on to ensure they are well informed.

then pay by cash lo....as simple as that.  biggrin.gif
is it the 1st time u r buying a phone in shop?
anyway, someone can drop email to samsung tell them next time put remarks as pay by cash.
based on experience buying phones, almost all shop seller will have surcharge for CC. perhaps big seller like Harvey or SenQ dont (not so sure) but samsung outlet are resellers/dealers.
*
This is where you are wrong. Samsung dealer in KLCC does not charge any additional charges for cc payment, neither does its publika dealer and from what I gather in the forum neither does the Gardens outlet. So to say ALL shops charge is not accurate. I expect this treatment at a shop in low yat or sg wang. I dont expect a SES to be charging this just because "they can"

Funny this review says can install apps on the sd card but other reviews mentioned only contents can be stored on sd card while apps can be on phone only

Do some of these shop charge extra if use Debit Card? Like Credit Card?
*
Sometimes debit card cheaper as the MDR is cheaper but whether the retailer charges all at 2% is anyone's guess as they are not supposed to charge to begin with.

Its not so much of affordability or can pay cannot pay, carrying around that kind of cash is just not advisable sometimes. While some cards give points or give rebates. This debate will never end but just giving an insider to those who keep saying "just pay cash"

but this time nothing to worry much as most country getting exynos variant

Not very knowledgeable on chipsets but why does Samsung pick 2 variants each time for their smart phone rather than pick 1 for the entire production?
