Especially with Samsung, some fellas just cannot resist criticizing any variants of chipset or camera sensors. As you had said this has been Samsung practice for several years already
As said if one cannot accept such practice just don't consider buying the phone
I had used several Samsung models of SD, Exynos chipset n different camera sensors too n yet still happy with whatever was sold to me. Only idealist buyers want the best of everything - I had used so many type of phones including all the iphone series ( except ip5s) n seriously there is no 10/10 phone

I guess their concern is about the 128GB MicroSD card. Samsung claims it it on first come first served basis.

There were two numbers. First called the 016 number. No pick up so call the landline number with some guy telling me that he doesn't know and wait for Samsung guy to call me.  Initially suggest 18 onwards for pickup.

Then the 016 called back,  much more knowledgeable and could answer well.  Guessing first one is a part time while the 2nd is the manager.

I "tried" to ask at Digital Mall PJ branch, i only asked bout the accessories for S7 Edge, he rudely replied (in a scolding manner) "Tak ada, tak ada", then ignored me. Wtf. Didn't even manage to ask bout the pre-order pick up 2moro.

Evn Jaya's Samsung staff was friendly.
