It is based on the T&C that you agreed. That is the true 'Black and White'. Even if the email says 20% + 128GB + 1 Year Extra warranty, the T&C prevails.

Browsing through various discussion forums regarding S7 Edge just now. Found out a fact that both of SD 820 & Exynos 8890 variants has a significant difference in term of charging. Apparently, SD 820 is supporting up to QC 3.0 while Exynos 8890 is supporting up to QC 2.0 only. So in short, Malaysia variant will be taking longer time in charging.

Not a really big deal since the difference would be not that big. Anyway, just thought I should share this little info.
*
No QC3.0 for 820 either

Well, at least we still have the QC2.0 aka Adaptive Fast Charging right?
*
Yes we do!
The only major difference between QC2.0 and QC3.0 is the power efficiency I guess.

And we will be getting the Exynos processor. But based on the recent Antutu benchmark, Exynos seems to be lacking much on GPU against SD820 T_T

Good thing, i'm not gaming much on my smartphone.
But is the difference really obvious?
*
On real time, I'm not too sure. But on benchmark, quite obvious. sweat.gif

No hahahaha. Have you seen the temperatures on the Exynos procs? In recovery, idle temp is 73 I lol'ed. The 810 on the 6P reaches 45 max on full load while flashing.

I don't think they'll be bringing the 64gb version. hmm.gif

I don't care if it's SD or Exynos, or the sensor. What I do care is, will they(the outlet) open our s7e box? You know, so they could register the extended warranty or something?

Was thinking to do an unboxing video for myself and a group of close friends, and I don't feel like doing unboxing if they oledi open T_T

Nobody keen for celcom pre order?
*
Since I am going to change my telco to celcom, I've already applied for the promotion.

Regardless, I will be selling either one. The extended warranty or the celcom promo hmm.gif

Depends on where you stay
For me Celcom is best with download speeds 20-70 Mbps
Maxis LTE still weak n 3g average 10-20 Mbps
Both Digi n UMobile no LTE at all
There is no best telco as depend on location n areas one frequent
*
In my room also no signal ady for my Digi. Tried celcom, no problem. shakehead.gif

Currently using mi3 with only 16GB of storage. And I have 5GB more to spare. laugh.gif

Now, what should I do with more than 128GB of storage? puke.gif

Luckily the sim is a hybrid slot.

TBH, I told myself I won't bother buying S7E if the price tag is above ~RM2.6k.

Had my eye on Mi5, and even followed Mi5 MWC presentation.

But the first batch of pre-order was a Hot Deal not to be missed.

RM3099 * 20% = RM619.80
128 GB Evo + = ~RM300
1 year add warranty = RM???

Basically, you are buying a premium well branded, well known brand for
3099 - 619.80 - 300 = ~RM 2179.20 WITH an extended 1 year SME warranty. Can't blame if some of us are ecstatic about it tongue.gif

That is like the price tag of Mi5 Pro, but will better branding and curve edges.

I'm sure that someone had already math it out, but, oh well. tongue.gif

Warranty is worth nothing if you are not going to utilize it, dont you think so? Hahahaha...

1 Year ish later if you decide to buy a new phone, you can sell it off easily cause it still has warranty. icon_rolleyes.gif

The selling price is more important than the warranty itself...

Yeap, thus the "value" of the warranty.
