Check my profile > member's posts. I quoted a forumer who mentioned about a fully curved glass for the S7 Edge and he mentioned there's a transparent version.
I'm on mobile so it's difficult for me to check.

QUOTE(XeactorZ @ Mar 8 2016, 11:40 PM) I don't see any disadvantage when using exynos My previous S3 was a mofo pos. Constant lagging, freezing and utterly annoying so far those flagship used by Samsung only the S4 is the worst, you can google about it else is working fine but I just no idea why they want release 2 variant as for performance, Android not really direct compete with Apple iPhone as they use different OS in the end, there no perfect in this world, you pay what you get normally is exynos if not mistaken so far only US and China are using snapdragon As with all Samsung phones, I'd anticipate some lagging/pause/freezing here and there in the S7 but I do not expect it to be as bad as the S3 lol. What i mean is you pay premium for the s7, sure you want the best ver of the phone right..its freaking rm3000 of your hard earn money...its nice if you can have the snapdrgon 820 ver of the phone right.. I don't really give a damn about benchmarks lol. However if the difference means something in the real world, then I might be concerned lol.ZeneticX Yup I saw that too. Which one is better ya? |

Usage - Instagram, Snapchat, Youtube, web browsing with Chrome, Facebook. ![]() ![]() and some quick low light testing ![]() ![]() I believe with manual settings and RAW file tweaking will be even better |

I guess it depends on how the sensor exposes for the scene given a certain lighting condition. Usually I notice these variances mostly occur in low light situations.
Anyhow, we were not there so we don't know how the actual scene looked like. One feature I would like in the S7 camera software is the option to turn off high ISO noise reduction and long exposure noise reduction. If you see the camera samples, you'll notice some quite a bit of noise reduction being applied at the expense of details. Also, I noticed that the S7 usually use a warmer white balance (higher Kelvin temperature) so if you want accurate WB, it's better to use pro mode and set your own K temperature. QUOTE(WyjSwmW @ Mar 10 2016, 09:11 AM) Apparently my fren who got his S7 Edge in Singapore told me the RAM management issue still persists. The issue is about apps actually not websites in an app. It may be an issue with the browser. He tried to open around 7-8 websites and the websites needs to reload everytime he went back to the first website and so on. Anyone can confirm that? |
