I thought one of the advantage for pre-order as stated by Samsung is to get it one day earlier than everyone else.

Anyways for SP/TG. I think the purpose is to lower the risk of the screen cracking/scratch. Lowers..not indefinitely. Same like safety-belts and air-bags in cars (although not as crucial), it will reduce the chance of fatality. My 2 sens.

Call Brightstar and inform them self-collection, quote your tracking number. Having experience before with them slow to send my iPhone 6S, reason is because they can't get me and end up never deliver. Icalled them up and inform self-collection, immediately went over to collect after the call.
