agreed. happened for both spigen and X-one ultimate (the dark/black package).
but the new version X-One Ultimate in red packaging do not have this problem. at least for me.

when used s6e last time, almost 3 months i used without any SP, observed many hairline scratches and the oleophobic coating start to deteriorate. thus, i opt to try out the X-One ultimate in red packaging which they claimed better than the black packaging.

PET, so far there is no good tempered glass screen protector for S7 edge as I know off. Its either do not stick well with the edge or its having alot of small dot on the screen which XDA ppl report that its distracting when screen on.
