Has anyone here heard of this brand?

http://www.brandxamps.com/

I went to this music shop in Penang yesterday, seeking for a low budget amp. The shop owner recommended me this, saying it's a brand under Fender (I'm not really sure). I tested an X-25R and another 15W Marshall amp, and surprisingly I prefer this more.

Would love to hear more reviews from you people who have heard of it. Thanks. wink.gif

I've never heard of this amp before but i assume the 15W marshall was the MG15. And ermm...i'm pretty sure many will agree with me when i say that any amp is better than the MG15 laugh.gif

However i doubt that it is a brand under Fender.

Never heard of it. It should get some hype on music boards if this is under fender, but this is the first time Im seeing someone asking about it.

I tried it at Bently...it costs around RM350 MIC..

the sound is decent for the amps around it's price but then...Roland's cube series is much better

Whoops. I read about the "Marshall amps quality" thread just now. Didn't know that MG series has such bad reviews until today. Thanks for the useful piece of information, LYN! rclxms.gif

And yes, it is confirmed to be a brand under Fender.

Ok, my friend has the 30W version of this I think. And it sounds horrible compared to my Cube 30. Really static sounding and messy distortion with not too bad cleans. So I think its better you go for a Microcube.

i agree with you ..cube's distortion definitely pawn brand x ..

but i think brand x is more pedal friendly , than cube ..cube's 3 band EQ also something wrong one ..
