i was annoying and whinney too .. always asking for help here and there.. eventually i got pissed off at something.. not because no one helped.. but because someone annoyed me with their lame a$$ comments.. so? i left Loth at lv 62 and lvled all the way to lvl 7 without any help from Loth.. i didnt do any BC instances besides ramparts until i hit 70.. and after that the first instace i did was arcatraz ha.. i was superbly undergeared.. but i still managed somehow..

Loth just started raiding kara when i hit 70.. i was determined to get a spot.. so i pugged KoT instances 3-4 times everyday until i got the rep to get my first epic dagger "riftmaker" and farmed enough gold to buy my Scryer rep and the "retainer blade".. finally got a chance to go into kara! my first boss was moroes.. and we downed him.. and i got the "emerald ripper" lol my one month of time trying to get riftmaker replaced in 10 minutes =p

so yeah.. i worked my way up with Loth in Kara.. spending everyday of my gametime farming for mats and gold to buy better enchants for my gears and not to mention gold for repair bills. as i only have that much time to play.. i hard have time to help lowbies with their things.. cuz firstly i play to enjoy the game, MY GAME.. i dont think its compulsory for me to use MY GAMETIME aka MY MONEY to help someone get his things done.. while i sacrifice MY GAMETIME aka MY MONEY which i can use to do my own things for my own use for the next upcoming raids

see.. even now.. though i'm one of the top rogues in Loth. because of my work conditiosn and my RL, my aid spot has been given to other rogues.. and QQ at endon for hogging all the rogue lewt for himself.. so wat? i dont blame anyone .. and i dont blame myself.. RL > WoW for me.. yes i'm disappointed i cant get to join them and raid and progress thru SSC now.. but i still can login.. and have different goals in WoW now.. i'm moving towards getting all my PVP and Arena gears since i cant raid.. doing dailies for money.. helping out the newer batches of kara groups.. so if u ask nicely.. i'll think about helping u.. u see? u have to think.. wat do I get by helping u lowbies? nothing.. just time wasted and money wasted.. its just the same.. when u hit 70.. u'll be just like us.. ugh i wanna raid.. i wanna farm.. i wanna arena.. i want this i want that.. do u think u'd wanna help lowbies with their things? i doubt it.. maybe if its just those lil one quest thing.. but if its an instance, u'll be like heck no.. i've been helping lowbies with their quests and instances even b4 i hit 70.. and wat do i get from it? nothing? but i'm not complaining.. at least i can see where they are now..

so advise for u lowbies out there.. if u cant get a group.. jus do quests..instances isnt everything.. yes u get some kewl blues for ur level so wat? u replace them in a day or 2 depending how much u play a day.. but in the end it still gets replaced..

Loth is a malaysian/sg guild.. a big percentage of us are.. so its natural that we talk our own language/slang, we cant accomodate to everyone.. imagine if u joined a pinoy guild.. i'm sure 90% of the time they will be talking in tagalog.. so? wat are u gonna do? " SPEAK ENGLISH U DAMN PINOYS! " and get a /gkick lol.. come on

Anyways, i do remember a lowbie named Geez that borrowed money from many people in the guild. Like most people in LoTH, they were generous and decided to help him out. A few days later, he gquit with all the money, never said a word.

It's not we don't want to help lowbies, the experience we went through helping these kind of lowbies is really rather disappointing.

Imagine some random lowbie in the guild suddenly PST you "RUN ME THROUGH WC PLEASE!!!" or 'CAN BORROW 50G PLEASE!!". What will you do? Like what Rantic said, when you join LoTH.. You have access to all available crafting items, free of charge with mats of course,(except for that darn crit scope), a very nice website, a fairly stable vent and of course knowledge from the raiders.

LOL he did?? I knew it!! When he PM almost everyone in the guild asking "May I borrow 20g please?" I had a feeling he's a scammer. The problem is that LoTH has gotten so huge that you don't know most people in the guild, so when someone asked to borrow some Gs, you /who and see LoTH member and you just give. Next time better ask in /g first.

@peeka: I am a decent enchanter today because you were willing to put ~10 hours of work into farming mats and selling them for a damn cheap price so I could make my runed eternium rod. Thank you so much! >_<

Not true. I just help things move along wherever possible. What you guys dont see between the scenes are the offline mamak shop meetings i've had with Nitro, the phone calls, some really long discussions on guild strategy, etc.

While it may seem that i make the day-to-day decisions, thats probably because i'm online more and thus involved a bit more. And even then, if you think all the ideas are mine, they are not -- the officers play a huge role in influencing the direction of the guild -- i listen to all of them and make decisions based on their feedback; "power" is the ability to influence people -- this would mean the officers have the real "power" since i listen to their advice on nearly all significant decisions. On really big decisions, i always consult nitro first.

So, meh, think what you like. It doesn't mean its true.

There are things that Nitro do for the guild that people, including a lot of Lothians, don't even realise or take for granted. He is kind of "behind the scene" supporting LoTH while Rantic is the one "up front" leading the raids. Neither one is less important than the other. Trust me, running a guild is not JUST about leading raids and firing/recruiting people. Just like many singers who made it to the top, you sure know their names, but do you know their managers' names?
