My friend is going to buy a GPU (R9 280X) for me today from Yiwu, China. Now he's worried about the chances of getting a fake GPU. So, I am badly in need of some suggestions regarding the original GPU in Yiwu market. My budget is 1500 rmb. Please help me out

well if buying from the shop itself ask them to test on the spot in front of you then..

they must've have a running pc

RMB 1500 equals to RM933

Why waste time and money buying from overseas when you can get a new unit in Malaysia for only RM799?

Ask them to check on the spot, try running GPU-z or whichever software you like to verify you have the correct card

I would definitely recommend buying from Malaysia

Better buy locally.

Many fake card on Taobao (not sure about buying from brick and mortar shop). Some people already tried and posted the review. The drivers in the cd already modified to show fake info. Therefore even GPUz also show fake info.
