QUOTE(mushigen @ Mar 1 2017, 08:58 PM) Strange. There is no option to set video length and the default is 3 minutes. What I can guess is the power cable connection loose, or SD card issue. QUOTE(coolstore @ Mar 1 2017, 09:22 PM) Hi guys, I guess I terpress the emergency recording. That's why it keep recording for duration of 10 sec to 20 sec. I try 2nd button can recording 2 min ++. (no test max limit) btw, do you guys remove the dash cam when away from car in public place?? I guess nobody wan break my windows and steal it |

QUOTE(lsm1991 @ Mar 2 2017, 10:48 AM) 10 secs.... thats awfully suspicious.... u checking the emergency recordings ahh? those are exactly 10sec files... I terpress the emergency recording. That's why it keep recording for duration of 10 sec to 20 sec. QUOTE(mushigen @ Mar 2 2017, 11:25 AM) The default setting is 3 mins, cannot be changed. Ya one of the concern is heating under hot sun, my company car park don have roof one...I don't remove my cams when parking my car - unless I intend to park for a few days in an open car park (more worried about heat in the parked car). Plugging on/off the power supply to my blackvue damages the power plug connection. |

QUOTE(lsm1991 @ Mar 2 2017, 12:12 PM) ahhahaha alright Hmm...about the sun.... cant say about the models which have the stuck on holder, but those with the sucker.... well after a while it becomes abit loose, i suspect heat might exaggerate this flaw. (better would be to tukar to a better holder in the 1st place Finally installed in my car... Recorded 3 min of 1080P - 60 fps, it took 400 MB !! (So huge file) But somehow the video looks not clear, I put in my PC cant even see the car plate clearly... I think maybe my windscreen dirty also lar, compare to other who post in youtube which is very clear can see car plate. Any suggestion?? QUOTE(lsm1991 @ Mar 11 2017, 09:43 AM) that plastic bit infront of the lens... ade remove x? Ya already removed..*also, can just skip the 60fps if its eating too much space.. QUOTE(mushigen @ Mar 11 2017, 10:13 AM) Suggest you post the YT link for us to view. Can do away with the audio if you don't want us to hear your intimate conversation. By default I mute it.. (My singing really zzz)I will try to upload it and discuss here. Any idea to squeeze or make the file smaller to upload YT?? Internet not that fast haha This post has been edited by patrickthissen: Mar 11 2017, 12:06 PM |

QUOTE(springfall @ Mar 11 2017, 03:17 PM) make dropbox account, share link to video here. Suction one.youtube compresses files badly. btw u using suction or 3m mount? just a possibility. QUOTE(xperiaVuser @ Mar 11 2017, 04:15 PM) use 1080p 30fps good enough, the colors and quality on the 60fps is worse. Ok, now I switch to 1080p 30 fps.video quality on this cam 1080p 30fps>1296p 30fps>1080p 60fps, that's my observation. QUOTE(coolstore @ Mar 13 2017, 10:27 AM) it may need angle adjustment - i experienced with some cams before, especially wide angle lens Okok, now trying the 100/110 deg with downwards position.horizontal 90 degree may not best view and even get blurring put a slightly downwards like 100, 110, 120 degree give best view and clear image of plate number QUOTE(mushigen @ Mar 13 2017, 02:05 PM) Make sense |
