QUOTE(Boy96 @ Oct 20 2016, 09:52 PM) From my Google Now on Tap translate it shows this but many words are missing, so cannot really understand [attachmentid=7822583] Hi Guys, I updated my Xiaoyi Dash Cam with the above firmware via my Phone Mi Max. After updated, now my Xiaoyi Dash Cam only stuck at Xiaoyi logo in pink colour and even though reset many times and do the same firmware update still the same. Anyone encounter the same issue also? Anyone can advise me on this? Thanks.

QUOTE(blurjoey @ Nov 25 2016, 09:07 AM) Read here: http://www.yitechnology.com/support/firmware_enB. If YI Smart Dash Camera cannot boot normally, try push the reset button on the top of the camera with a pin. If the camera still cannot boot: Download FWCARC10.bin to the micro SD card and put it in the root directory (make sure the file name remains FWCARC10.bin) Insert the micro SD card in the camera Connect the camera to a power source, then switch on the camera The yellow light at the right-bottom corner of the camera will flash, but the screen remains dark (if the light is not flashing, push the reset button on the top of the camera with a pin) Wait for 1-5 minutes before the update is successful and the camera is restarted Format the micro SD card after the camera is successfully restarted, otherwise the update process will be started every time the camera is restarted Thanks. I am able to reset and boot from the Micro SD card with above steps. Just that each time to update the latest firmware from the phone to dash cam via phone wifi, the phone will stuck at xiaoyi logo and unable to boot into the menu and console. Anyone experience the same problem also? Thanks.

QUOTE(xperiaVuser @ Nov 25 2016, 01:24 PM) Mi Max means using MIUI right? Check the app permissions, just allow all. All permissions on Phone Miui being granted before I sync to dash cam. Noticed the dash cam received file from the phone and the dash cam restarted by itself after few min idling and hang at the xiaoyi logo after that.

QUOTE(xperiaVuser @ Nov 25 2016, 04:40 PM) Did you restart the phone after changing permissions? Try it first. If that doesn't work, then I have no idea what's the problem I am managed to update my xiaoyi dash camera to latest China firmware via China yitechnolofy web site. Thanks

QUOTE(xperiaVuser @ Dec 15 2016, 03:19 PM) How did you update? Copy the firmware into the sdcard? Yes. format micro sd card, copy firmware to micro sd card and insert into dash camera. Turn on the camera and follow instruction to complete the firmware update.
