Factory paint on new cars, trucks and SUVs is thin. How thin? Generally speaking, the top clear (not including the color coat or primer coat), the layer that you can polish and wax, average around 50 microns thick only, approximately the thickness of a piece of paper. So when polishing, to leave the most amount of paint on the car, we use the least aggressive products to get the job done.

The primary purpose of our glass coating is to act as a sacrificial barrier coating over the surface of your car’s paint. Any time anything comes into contact with your car’s paint, before it can cause any damage to the paint, it first has to get past the layers of glass coating. When your car’s paint is under attack, the layer of glass coating sacrifices itself.

G Guard glass coating is not an invisible force field that repels everything and anything that comes near it. Glass coating still need to be maintained. They need to be washed, clayed, and protected on a regular schedule to maintain a new appearance.

We import our G Guard glass coating liquid from Japan, which is packed in small bottles, it is an inorganic glass liquid and has a crystal clear colour, solidifies on contact with air to enclose your car in hard glass. Superior protection against UV rays, pollution, chemicals, bird droppings, paint fading, dirt, dust and etc.

Some coating companies apply only 1 layer of “Top Coat”. G Guard is using “Base Coat, Under Coat, Middle Coat, Middle-top Coat and Top Coat”, we have up to 7 layers of coating packages.
