Hi, I need suggestion to upgrade my pc, currently using
Intel i3-2100 Gigabyte H67MA-USB3 B3 Asus r7 260x Cooler Master Elite 550 ver 2 4gb ram ddr3 maxtor 160gb HDD WD 1tb HDD WD 2tb HDD
I am planning to upgrade the processor, motherboard and ram. But I am not sure how, for processor, currently considering amd fx 6350, A10 7850, i3 6100 or 15 6500. I dont have much requirement in gaming, as most of the time i enjoy RPG games, which doesn't requires high end graphic, but i do like smooth experience, my HDD takes 3 seconds to load every once in a while when i click in again, which I am not sure what the problems is.
So, every sifu please give me opinion on the upgrade of processor and motherboard, thank you

QUOTE(terence_nwb @ Mar 14 2016, 07:54 AM) New Skylake CPU and mobo are recommended to run DDR4 RAM which means you gonna need to change RAM too if you were to choose Skylake platform which is a better choice than the aged AMD platform for now. What's your budget? yes, I m planning to change CPU, mobo, ram and also the casing. My budget is around rm 1200 - 1500 for those 3 and a cooler master k282 casing, so i need a mobo that supports 2 usb 3 at front and total of 6 usb at back I am not particularly tight on budget, so I might raise my budget if its worth the price and i might add a SSD Thank you

Hello fellow sifus, I am planning to upgrade motherboard along with intel core i3 6100, planning to choose either Gigabyte GA-B150M-HD3 or Asrock B150M-HDV,
basic requirement is 2 front usb 3.0 at front and 6 x sata 3 connectors. So, which one is better? or is there any other suggestion? budget is below RM 350

QUOTE(terence_nwb @ May 30 2016, 07:54 AM) Both of them come with 2 RAM slots only, go for MSI B150M Pro-DH instead. I am planning to use Kingston HyperX Fury DDR4 8gb ram and yesterday bought a Sandisk Ultra II 240gb SSD. MSI seems decent, but the gigabyte comes with M.2 is there any difference with or without M.2 while using SSD? Thank you
