QUOTE(terence_nwb @ Apr 2 2016, 04:38 PM) System 100% up time is hard to guarantee. Intel Core i5 6400 - RM 773 Gigabyte B150M-D3H (D4) - RM 403 Corsair 8GB DDR4 2133MHz Value RAM - RM 148 Palit GTX750Ti 2GB GDDR5 StormX OC - RM 509 Kingston HyperX Fury 120GB SSD - RM 209 FSP Hexa+ 550W - RM 188 Total: RM 2230 (ETech price inclusive of GST) You can max out your budget by getting GTX960, Xeon E3 1230 V5 + C232 mobo upgrade will cause slight over budget though. Hi, Thanks for the suggestion above. I think H110 mobo chipset is enough for me. What do you think ? Kingston SSD reliable ?

QUOTE(terence_nwb @ Apr 5 2016, 03:38 PM) H110 comes with 2 RAM slots only but for casual users, it should be enough, if you think it is ok for you then just pick H110 (save money). Kingston SSD is ok, just need to avoid their lowest end series (V300) due to NAND issue. Thanks again. I think I will pick H110. Yea NAND issue. I know nothing about SSD chips but my friends are recommending me Samsung and Intel SSD. btw, do you know any reliable USB 3 Extension My old CM690 dont have USB3.0 port.

Terence_nwb,
few days ago you also recommended me Kingston HyperX Fury 120SSD.
May I know the main difference between Kingston and Samsung 850 SSD ?
Dont know how to decide for SSD.

QUOTE(terence_nwb @ Apr 11 2016, 10:59 AM) Price. Any SSD is fast enough for you to feel the difference between SSD and HDD. If you want a more "premium" brand then go for Samsung, otherwise Kingston should be enough, their internal components (NAND, controller) are different too but very hard to notice the difference in real life usage unless you benchmark them. Noted. Thank you.

QUOTE(terence_nwb @ Apr 19 2016, 04:27 PM) Just realised adapters or new cable are not cheap. Should I just get Zotac GTX 750 Ti 2GB, with HDMI output but lower spec than Palid Storm OC ? Price lower.

I Have some final question before building my rig.
Intel SSD 540s, worth to get this ?
Asus GTX950 OC, any bottle neck if I use Gigabyte H110M DS2 Mobo.

QUOTE(terence_nwb @ Apr 27 2016, 02:55 PM) The base price of Intel 540 is quite high, nearly RM 290 for 120GB model (or you found a better deal?), 240GB is more worth though, if you are getting 120GB then you better off with Samsung 850 EVO. H110 chipset is having native PCI-E 3.0 support, so no bottleneck there, you can even plug in a GTX980Ti without any issue, usually mobo doesn't create any sort of bottleneck (even with PCI-E 2.0 because the bandwidth is enough for modern GPU), CPU/RAM is the one we need to focus when we talk about bottleneck, as well as the game itself (how the game utilizes the resources available etc.). About RM 200 for intel 540s, not sure if this is a good deal.
