if you're talking about 6th gen i5, then it is not enough, even if you take out the ssd, you still need to add around 200 to get i5, i think i5 is around rm800+

That's why if the SSD is optional, I can remove it then add some money to change to i5.
But if the build with i3 is sufficient for most games, then I might just follow what the bro suggest. =)

It depends on your purpose, even if you remove the SSD you still need to top up a bit for i5.

gaming purpose, that's why if the SSD is optional then i will take it out and top up for the i5.
But with i3, enough for most of the FPS games?

If you can top up/accept the fact that you need to top up, then remove the SSD and opt for i5 instead, SSD can be added later on  nod.gif

It depends on which FPS, CS:GO is ok, BF4 32/64 players MP maps not ok, even i5 (real quad core) is also struggling with the amount of units in the map  laugh.gif

I see, but i5 sure better than i3. So i might take out the SSD.
any more suggestion?

It's ok, just make sure you are getting the DDR4 version instead of DDR3.

since you are using a gtx 960 its not going to make much difference with i3/i5
in come cases, i3 is faster then i5
