QUOTE(MagnificM @ Apr 13 2016, 01:36 PM) if you're talking about 6th gen i5, then it is not enough, even if you take out the ssd, you still need to add around 200 to get i5, i think i5 is around rm800+ That's why if the SSD is optional, I can remove it then add some money to change to i5. But if the build with i3 is sufficient for most games, then I might just follow what the bro suggest. =)

QUOTE(terence_nwb @ Apr 13 2016, 02:18 PM) It depends on your purpose, even if you remove the SSD you still need to top up a bit for i5. gaming purpose, that's why if the SSD is optional then i will take it out and top up for the i5. But with i3, enough for most of the FPS games?

QUOTE(terence_nwb @ Apr 13 2016, 03:30 PM) If you can top up/accept the fact that you need to top up, then remove the SSD and opt for i5 instead, SSD can be added later on It depends on which FPS, CS:GO is ok, BF4 32/64 players MP maps not ok, even i5 (real quad core) is also struggling with the amount of units in the map I see, but i5 sure better than i3. So i might take out the SSD. any more suggestion?

QUOTE(terence_nwb @ Apr 13 2016, 04:27 PM) It's ok, just make sure you are getting the DDR4 version instead of DDR3. Thx a lot my friend! I live around Kepong, so the etech quite near. Can go ask from them right?

QUOTE(Leon be here now @ Apr 13 2016, 05:19 PM) since you are using a gtx 960 its not going to make much difference with i3/i5 in come cases, i3 is faster then i5 https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...entry79373238where are some more bench marks http://www.techspot.com/review/1087-best-v...-cpu/page4.htmlWow! That's quite the information! Thank you so much! But with i5, it is better for upgrade later on right?
