There's no such thing as a performance motherboard. No motherboard improves the gaming performance.

For the motherboard, can go for the MSI B150M Bazooka D4, around RM399-419 and for the RAM, Corsair or Kingston Value RAM 1x8GB DDR4 2133MHz, should be around RM190-210..but since you render videos, would be better to go for 2 sticks of 8GB.

The motherboard is of the LGA1151 socket, of course it can work since it's for Skylake. Though you can get a motherboard with similar USB ports/PCI slots etc for less.
