Personal experience: it's just fine, not spectacular, but nothing to complain about also. Used their proxy service too, which almost everyone recommend due to their rate apparently being the "cheapest", but to me it's really just a few hundred yen cheaper than tenso.com. As for figures, I believe they're more expensive compared to Amiami, but in reality I think it's offset with Amiami's ludicrous shipping fee. TLDR BiJ's okay-ish, just go for it if you found a figure you want there. One thing of note is that the customer service guy I got is apparently French, so he doesn't exactly have the best English around, nor Japanese for that matter.

Bought a few items from them before. They are not too bad except their customer service responds can be slow sometimes. Pricing wise, some of their items can be slightly cheaper than amiami. On the plus side, they always under declare figure value when shipping. Even my RM80 prize figure was under declared . So if you are planning to buy something which cost more than RM500, BiJ is a good option.

Native figures are weird in the sense that they're actually one of the safer figures to import because of their totally inconspicuous box. Native figure boxes are usually monotonous in colour, with a single title describing the name of the figure, where it's from, and just some Japanese paragraph. Pretty minimalistic.  In that regard, unless the box is extremely big or heavy, you can totally import one or two, almost guilt-free.

Well, you do get to relax if you order from KC Distributions, in that you simply pay them and let them worry about the hassle of customs and all that. Wait for their call about the item being in stock, go pick them up. Think of it as "hassle-free tax". They're not for me though; those prices are bonkers.

Rule no 1 when you get exclusive bonuses of anything: you don't use them.

Rule no 2: you DON'T use them.

Seriously though, for posters, framing is the best option. You really don't want to put any adhesive on the posters, and you don't want dust to smear the poster too. The only problem is looking for the best frame that fits the poster, but luckily IKEA has you covered.

There's several categories. Some stuff need permission from SIRIM, Ministry of Health etc. For items that fall under this, they will return the parcel to sender if receiver failed to produce permission from the related bodies. If your item fall under category 1 (pornographic material, weapons, hazardous material) they will confiscate and dispose the item after 40 days or so and not return them back to sender
