QUOTE(dis0rd3h @ Mar 29 2016, 09:48 AM) Personal experience: it's just fine, not spectacular, but nothing to complain about also. Used their proxy service too, which almost everyone recommend due to their rate apparently being the "cheapest", but to me it's really just a few hundred yen cheaper than tenso.com. As for figures, I believe they're more expensive compared to Amiami, but in reality I think it's offset with Amiami's ludicrous shipping fee. TLDR BiJ's okay-ish, just go for it if you found a figure you want there. One thing of note is that the customer service guy I got is apparently French, so he doesn't exactly have the best English around, nor Japanese for that matter. QUOTE(sheushen @ Mar 29 2016, 11:21 AM) Bought a few items from them before. They are not too bad except their customer service responds can be slow sometimes. Pricing wise, some of their items can be slightly cheaper than amiami. On the plus side, they always under declare figure value when shipping. Even my RM80 prize figure was under declared Thanks! I actually considered using BiJ because they carry exclusive figures that others don't have. Their under-declare service is also a huge plus for expensive figures.Thank you for the feedbacks! |

QUOTE(dis0rd3h @ Apr 29 2016, 04:26 PM) Wow, I'm surprised KC Distributions is willing to stock Aoba: https://kcdistributions.com/product_detail/aoba. Dat price tho. QUOTE(EXkurogane @ Apr 30 2016, 08:11 PM) Nude guys are legal but nude women aren't. That's how the law works. Well,no balls no banana seen on the figure also, that might be why Does that mean native figures are now legal to import in Malaysia? XDMy Saeki Ai just reached customs at 5pm today, praying hard that i will get her next tuesday or wednesday smoothly Seriously though, KC is highly overpriced and I don't like the sole distributor shit they're pulling. Btw, I wanna ask about those B2 / A2 poster you get from some figure purchase as exclusive bonus. How do you guys display them? Do you just hang them up or do you frame them? |

QUOTE(Exiled_Gundam @ May 3 2016, 04:24 PM) QUOTE(dis0rd3h @ May 3 2016, 10:49 PM) Native figures are weird in the sense that they're actually one of the safer figures to import because of their totally inconspicuous box. Native figure boxes are usually monotonous in colour, with a single title describing the name of the figure, where it's from, and just some Japanese paragraph. Pretty minimalistic. In that regard, unless the box is extremely big or heavy, you can totally import one or two, almost guilt-free. I really wanna import the Seven Deadly Sins and Oboro Muramasa figures but damn scared it'll kena rampas T.TWell, you do get to relax if you order from KC Distributions, in that you simply pay them and let them worry about the hassle of customs and all that. Wait for their call about the item being in stock, go pick them up. Think of it as "hassle-free tax". They're not for me though; those prices are bonkers. Rule no 1 when you get exclusive bonuses of anything: you don't use them. Rule no 2: you DON'T use them. Seriously though, for posters, framing is the best option. You really don't want to put any adhesive on the posters, and you don't want dust to smear the poster too. The only problem is looking for the best frame that fits the poster, but luckily IKEA has you covered. Native has really nice figures but it is such a pain they don't ship to Malaysia and NY randomly underdeclares too low sometimes for the size of the box. Haha "hassle-free-tax" that explains why local retailers charge extra for most of their figures eh. If it's like 500 - 1500 yen extra I wouldn't mind but KC is ridiculous. Look at the price of their nendos and DXF figures! Ah, okay got it. So I'm not supposed to use them but just admire them |

QUOTE(Exiled_Gundam @ May 4 2016, 10:46 AM) Yup, that Oboro. QUOTE(EXkurogane @ May 4 2016, 06:30 PM) That Oboro figure is relatively 'softcore' compared to one of my figure imports last year which had a swappable pair of boobs, a dildo, and 2 sets of vaginas (hip parts) included in the box Damn how did it got through Kastam? Sifus, please teach me! |

Great photo, EXkurogane!
Btw I got a few questions that's been bugging me.. 1) I have one EMS package shipped on 3 June but till now it is still En route to Malaysia. Should I be worried? 2) I never ordered from Nippon Yasan before and I currently have 3 pre-orders with them but I may only want to keep one and cancel the other two. Does NY allow cancellations for a newbie account? 3) I recently used Big in Japan proxy service to pre-order an exclusive figure and paid half deposit but BiJ never sent any order confirmation or receipt or something so it is really acknowledged? Do they fulfill proxy pre-orders? They are more famous for their forwarding services so I am a little worried Sorry for so many noob questions. Paiseh |

QUOTE(WingNut @ Jun 7 2016, 10:45 AM) 1) 3 june is friday. no, you shouldn't be worried. jap post is one of the fastest, if not the fastest ems partner around; Ah thanks. Maybe I'll try asking NY later. 2) somebody did mention that ny recently allowed cancellations, but it will affect your account standing. not sure if allowed for newbie accounts; 3) yes, there should be an order confirmation. check your junk folder. some confirmations may end up in your junk folder. QUOTE(ReviewMyEnglish @ Jun 10 2016, 09:12 AM) Sakura Shinguji - She can be pre-ordered from most of the shop but her price is different from shop to shop. Cheapest is NY (lagi cheap than AmiAmi and BiJ)Does anyone know how or where can I pre-order it? A̶n̶y̶o̶n̶e̶ ̶k̶n̶o̶w̶ ̶h̶o̶w̶ ̶o̶r̶ ̶w̶h̶e̶r̶e̶ ̶I̶ ̶c̶a̶n̶ ̶p̶r̶e̶-̶o̶r̶d̶e̶r̶ ̶i̶t̶?̶ |

QUOTE(Exiled_Gundam @ Jul 14 2016, 11:51 AM) If you think the package should not be under prohibited items, can try appeal. Otherwise just consider money gone. What item btw QUOTE(MeToo @ Jul 14 2016, 12:28 PM) I'll just forget it then. I don't want any troubles for my future imports. Money gone dy just like that But I admire Exiled_Gundam for going personally to release your stuff. I would be too takut to go there myself. Thanks anyway |

Or send to someone else instead?QUOTE(MeToo @ Jul 15 2016, 03:42 PM) Haha doesn't matter what I think. What matters is Kastam thinks it's prohibited Also they do open your boxes. QUOTE(Exiled_Gundam @ Jul 18 2016, 02:23 PM) There's several categories. Some stuff need permission from SIRIM, Ministry of Health etc. For items that fall under this, they will return the parcel to sender if receiver failed to produce permission from the related bodies. If your item fall under category 1 (pornographic material, weapons, hazardous material) they will confiscate and dispose the item after 40 days or so and not return them back to sender So yours was under cat.1? You think they'll really dispose those confiscated stuffs? If they do not return back to sender then teruk lo. My money really gone just like that. I'd rather it get sent back to Japan so another can have it or something |

QUOTE(Exiled_Gundam @ Jul 18 2016, 02:55 PM) Yes under category 1. They will dispose those confiscated stuff if you failed to win the appeal. And yes consider money gone Seven Deadly Sins Asmodeus. It's such a waste to think it'll be disposed off just like that if it does end up "disposed" I feel like maybe I should go there and personally destroy it myself QUOTE(dis0rd3h @ Jul 18 2016, 04:05 PM) Hey, welcome to the club! Yeah, practically zero chance of getting it back. Asmodeus and I don't think I can explain that figure to them. What figure you bought back then? Well now that you're in Japan (I assumed you're settled there dy) you can buy anything you want To echo the other posters, what figure did you purchase? Maybe you can make an appeal if it's not too revealing; in my case, it was blatantly pornographic so I had given up since the beginning. QUOTE(legenderycity @ Jul 18 2016, 10:00 PM) Nope, it's well below the RM500 mark which really confused me. QUOTE(EXkurogane @ Jul 19 2016, 04:27 PM) All of my 18sx figures passed kastam in the past 3 years First time buy such figure dy kena. So I really have rotten luck or what? in fact i think such figures kena tahan is quite uncommon, only a few unlucky ones kena |

QUOTE(Exiled_Gundam @ Jul 20 2016, 07:55 AM) This? http://myfigurecollection.net/item/97002 Not really nsfw, unless the packaging shows castoff pic... Can try to appeal, but bring female non-muslim to help you argue (can say the figure is for her). They do have prejudice on male especially muslim when it comes to borderline stuff like this. QUOTE(MeToo @ Jul 20 2016, 10:26 AM) Asmodeus should not be so bad... tell them shirt can come off like BARBIE dolls. Uhh not that Asmodeus. The ice cream base one from Amakuni. I ship in 7DSins Satan from Japan was fine... |

QUOTE(Exiled_Gundam @ Apr 27 2017, 03:48 PM) haven't start I think. If you see here: http://www.customs.gov.my/ms/cp/Pages/cp_pmb.aspx it's still RM 500 Yeah I baru receive two parcels that slightly exceed RM500 but they still charged me tax...that new value of RM1000 would be really great if it was implemented...IF |

Hi a quick question, if tracking status says: "Customs inspection" then change to "Item en route to", does that mean kena tahan dy? Kinda worried because I have an oppai mousepad and a borderline NSFW print in it
